New SFC policy of NO DRUMS, NO TRUMPETS AND NO MEGAPHONES will be allowed into the stadium! WTF? >:( >:( >:(

pm fish or myself for details of our usual celebrations for players coming out on the pitch...

grrrrrrr. guess we'll have to sing louder then and everyone who turns up will have to sing, at least when the players are running out. but i dont see how there could be a correlation between drums, trumpets and megaphones and overall bad behaviour.

Neither do I - although I do remember last year in Sydney one of the drummers had his drumsticks taken off him by security who told him that he couldn't have them because "You can stick them in somebody's ear".

Would love to hear exactly why these items are banned this time.

that is a stupid reason lol u can ban anything for safety reasons to some degree or another.

Does everyone still have one of those "Go Mariners" Kilophones (they were hardly megaphones) that they gave out at the first home game? Cause we could all take them with us. They can't ban them their official A-League promotional products. ;)
