I must say that was a great start to the a-league pre season! very proud the boys scored 3 goals within the first 10 minues, despite the third not being counted. I must also add the Marinators sounded brilliant too, mum could hear you but then said 'what? always shit in the showers?' or something of the sort.

Yea it was a good win and good to see some goals go in early but dissapionting we slackned off in the 2nd half,
i thought we were too quiet in bay 16 we started off good then went quiet for most of the game after that only starting to pick it up at the end, even RVD told us we were too quiet
Lets hope we can get results against the Tards and the Barrel Boys and then keep the pre season cup

One nice change in the crowd from this time last season was them reacting for things other than goals, good to see informed abuse of the referees now too!

Oh so sad where i was sitting! Marinators did a great job! Mega phone worked well for the "everywhere we go" chant-came across loud and clear in bay 40. I want to be in bay 16! So sick of sitting with boring shits who won't chant!
Wow we came out firing! Excellent goals and great plays but.................seemed we gave up?! Very flat in the 2nd half.

I'm with you pipray, crowd in Bay 6 boring too but the megaphone worked & people started to chant. I think they need us in these sections to get chanting happening. As they were last year, it's the behaving seats.
So glad to see us fire in the first 10 but we died in the arse after that. We need to keep the momentum. Anyway "Bring it on", great to be back on the paddock supporting our mariners.

Decent crowd considering it always rains for your matches. Sounds like Perth are in for perhaps even a worst season than last.

Perth were a park side and we made them look good for 80 mins.
There must be some logic in taking Osman off and leaving Brownie on but I cant imagine what it was

Osman also hobbled off down the tunnel, may have a strained something. Brownie was OK but it's a bit different having such a short back line. Portter is sooooooo short wearing No. 5. He did not look happy either.

I don't know marinermum. I agree having us there getting into the chants helps to get things going but it's hard when you are singing on your own! Think i might do one half in bay 16 and the other in the stands with the family! Hope ossie is ok. What's with Petrie falling down all the time?

well the megaphones may not be used again........security said we are not allowed to use them!
Good result to get the season started thou, it would have been nice to score a 3rd and 4th to really bury them but considering the injuries we had a great performance!
Well done lads!
