i was not too concearned with the crowd. It is only preseason. There was no squadron. And the pre-season cup gets no advertising. So all in all, i was hoping for more, but happy with it.

Terrible crowd, where was everyone. 7000 for a cup tie, thats shit. Newcastle had hardly any supporters there, for a local derby. Maybe there supporters were concerned with pre-season offield dramas, on the field they have no dramas, Nick Carle was worth the admission price alone, how good would we be with someone like him behind the front two of Tom Pondeljak and , leave Petrie at home get young legs on. 7,500 aint that bad for a pre-season game! If the FFA want bigger crowds etc they have to make the competition more attractive! I cannot believe anyone would say leave SP at home, he's the most intelligent striker we have! Pondeljak ain't primarily a striker either mate!

Leave SP at home? What and lose the game 1-0? SP does the job he's there to do, I think Kwassy & Mrdja are good players too, but they're different players.
Dru: No, I was in the tunnel before the scum were this time so I didn't run into Mr Carle.

Leave Petrie at home! We most likely wouldn't have won without him last night! Crowd was low but it is preseason, did think that more season ticket holders would have taken advantage of their free tickets though. Maybe next week.
