Wonder if the players and the coach realise that they've lost a large amount of the Cove and won't have that much non-Cove support to rely on, considering Sydney's attempts at crowds the last few times they've played.......
I also wonder if said coach realises that a lot of his players don't like Adelaide or anything to do with Adelaide, stemming from their rivalry in Season 1 and parts of 2?? Kossie probably thinks he can swan on in and tell everyone what to do without any past factors playing on the whole situation. Good luck with that.
Sydney City Hakoah, welcome back - no-one missed you.

hes the gaffer now and I think him taking attitude off the current squad will end with not much game time for those involved. That may well enhance Zdrillics life span

Can you believe both him and You-F*ck are on $300 000 a season?? Shameful...... P.S. Just watching Total Football now - I cannot _wait_ to smash those pricks on Sunday, if only to see Andy Harpers bald head crying on national television as the 'glamour club' slips further into oblivion. P.P.S. Juninho's been playing with needles the last few games...... might be something for Jedinak to target??

as much as being sour towards sydney and media coverage and so on is a great laugh, their state is not so much a cause for a whinge as a worry.
it's a bad thing for australian football to have sydney fc in such a state. it's as simple as that - sydney is our biggest city, our biggest market. the team has to be solid as an organisation at least if not always successful on the park.
i actually think their play has been alright, if a little short on penetration. against perth their performance was panned but i thought they were pretty reasonable. their defence is a disaster (and this weekend with no rudan it may verge on comedy - phoenix style), but that's the players they've got and mid-season you can't do much about it.
serious - i don't get your bagging of patrick (constant references to the youtube signing etc.), honestly i don't. he was very bloody good against perth. for the right price he'd be quite a buy.
and their crowds up to this point of the season are basically on a par with their season average last year. no disasters there, just not spectacular. but with the dearth of wins at home that's pretty normal. if they pick up some points the crowds will be back.
but the problem for sydney isn't about players or their football or crowds - it's that the club seems to be mauling itself twice a year. each time they do it they shed blood and skin and all the rest in the most public way possible and it's kinda getting beyond a joke.
if they were to just put a lock on it for a clear season - leave the board as is, let the manager do his job (including putting a broom through the playing group), and get the whole organisation focussed on football - then they would do fine.
the thing our club has over others is stability and professionalism. we're not a big club with heaps of fans and it's not (yet) the first club people think of when they think of australian football. if sydney were to take a leaf from our book and just be a football club rather than a soap opera for a year or so they'd probably find most of their problems disappear.

HAHAHA!
Ufuk and Zdrillic are both on $300,000.
And sydney fans bag us out for signing Alosi for $500,000 when Aloisi is better than both of them combined.

Breaking news from Sydney FC management... NO DRUMS, TRUMPETS OR MEGAPHONES! It would seem that a very small band of past supporters from clubs other than us have ruined it for all! For our 'usual' celebrations that we do when the players come out of the tunnel, please pm Fish as he has something planned. Sorry Drummers, this week off for you! You'll have to make up for it by singing twice as loud! LOL Is Fish taking his t-shirt off

I think their board must have the most arrogant self opinion in sport in this country.IMO the league seems to be doing fine without a strong and winning SFC. Though as they say beware the wounded bull.Sundays game is really delicately poised,we have all the positive news and they are disarray fc at the minute. All we need now is for them to be reduced to 10 .

Dibo - you said it yourself, Patrick was good against Perth. Mate, I could be good against Perth. Watch him make a joke of himself on Sunday......
And yes, I know that Sydney being this way is a bit of a worry, but f***, we're top of the league, and this _league_ as a whole isn't going anywhere. Why not take advantage of that whilst we can?? We deserve to be better than them, and there's no reason we can't be. Let's prove it on Sunday.
FIRE UP FARKIN'!!!!!
P.S. Just watched Kossie crucify Owens on Total Sydney....... f*ck you you miserable old c*nt. You're going down on Sunday. Seriously everyone, SERIOUS IS FIRED THE F*CK UP FOR SUNDAY, SYDNEY BOYS ARE GOING DOWN!!!!

Thankyou Fish, that made perfect sense.
The league is doing fine with Sydney the way they are, and if Sydney get bigger, then that makes the league itself even bigger. Sydney just have to function for the league to be the way it is, but the bigger Sydney get, then that's fine for everyone.
FIRE. THE. FARK. UP!!!!!
P.S. I know everyone's saying beware the wounded bull and all that sort of shit, but they're not a wounded bull, they're a dying calf that can't breathe - FFS EVERYONE, THEY HAVE DAVID ZDONKEY AS A CENTRE BACK!!!! AND PATRICK AS A "STRIKER"!!!! WE HAVE JOHN F*CKING ALOISI, SASHO PETROVSKI, AND THE BEST F*CKING SQUAD IN THE LEAGUE!!!!
FIRE UP FARKIN' AND CHEER THE BOYS ON TO AN ANNHILATING VICTORY ON SUNDAY!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Agree which is why I am so pissed off with the Sydney City thing agian. Ha Kossie go to google type in Crawford report. As I said in a previous post Don't confuse my argument with any kind of racial abuse but it seems the old Sydney City guard want to make a comeback, through the back door which pisses me off big time. Kossie to Lowy recorded conversation "Don Lowy, I am honored and grateful that you have invited me to your daughter 's wedding, on the day of your daughter's wedding. I hope their first child will be a masculine child. I pledge my ever ending loyalty." These same people running Sydney FC now once ran Hakoa then Sydney City and poorly like in NSL terms they will F***** ..... it up ............ and as you said dibo Sydney is the one club that needs to suceed for the sake of the A-League. Come on Criag get some of JW guts and stop crawling up Les's bum and say it. Sydney FC a return to the past. Some game plan to get the club in so much debt that only Mr Lowy can keep it going. Also FFA and BB, some John O'Neil needed soon.

HAHAHA! Ufuk and Zdrillic are both on $300,000. Umm... No. Leaves $1,000,000 roughly for 20 players lol not logical, it would be impossible to fit everyone else under the cap.......Brosque is on about $150k too so that's $750,000 on 3 players, some sense is needed ;D

Not sure if Wilko will get a game. A-League says he'll be back some time next week. That's the line up i'd most like to see without him.

The official PAX beat up:
My ticket bought at 1pm on Friday was PAX 10,080 - only a few thou short of their last crowd.
What was a worry was when I asked for away fans bay they said what row. OK, so it is ticketed, so I asked for as far back in Bay 3 as I could get - they said DD (the very back row) was available! Hmmm... what will we get in Bay 3?
