Saturday is looking good, OK they scored 5, but the defence of both teams was shocking.

Landon is and was an awesome player. Why he we back to america after bayer laver ill never know. Must have been homesick. Great for the american game no doubt, but somewhat of a waste of his career, esp at galaxy.

That whole game was appalling to watch. The football was fairly bad, except for moments from Juninho and Beckham's goal.
And channel ten, f%*k me that was embarrassing. David Basheer had absolutely no idea, he made Muscat sound like Martin Tyler. Bill Woods was OK but seemed a bit clueless and whoever that d%@khead doing the roaming reporting, the sooner he is run over by a bus the better.
Top marks to the cove for their "70000 people we play every week" sign.

Entertaining enough game, from what I saw. Plenty of goals, some good attacking football, but yes.....absolutely crap defending.
Funny seeing Necevski & Biddle playing in front of 80,000 fans and against Beckham. A few months back, I was watching them playing in front of a few hundred for Blacktown in the NSW state league. Good luck to both of them, except when they play us, of course!
One other thing....Biddle can't have been the worst on the park - Iain Fyfe was playing!

Ok, the defense....was crap. Seriously, the only thing stopping Galaxy from scoring was the keeper...(which well, is their job...but you get what I mean)
It was a showy game. Galaxy are NOTHING without Beckham.
Plus, if the 5th placing A-League team can beat Beckham...imagine how much the Mariners would of kicked arse!
Dirty playing by...I think it was Harmes? Who trod on Biddle? Although, I was hoping a few injuries in the game...just to improve our chances on the weekend!
And just a comment...I was in hysterics over how there was a player Biddle, and a player called Buddle. No one else laughed with me, but, you know...

To that tune? NFI
I spent most of my night elaborating on the nature of Victoria Beckham's relationship with Iain Fyfe

It was an exhibition game, so the standard of defence was way down.
Great crowd, Cove in full voice, some good goals (Becksmania's free kick was a cracker) and good entertainment overall.
They clearly had a plan to hack Juninho, which may yet result in him missing our game.
Some of Beckham's long passing was a joy to watch, and Landon Donovan is lightning quick.
Be interesting to see how the Sheep go against them on Sunday, and how LA go in the expanded MLS next year.
