Whilst I appreciate the club has limited influence here, the new arrangements for those of us who smoke are absurd.
Firstly, smoking is only allowed on the grass behind the W Grandstand. Not near the grass, not by the grass but actually ON IT. What this entails is security herding people onto the grass where little kids are trying to have a kick around. Thats right, the stadiums new rules actually force people to smoke around children.
Also, there were only 9,500 odd there yesterday and no away support. What will happen when we play the bogans?? or SFC?? Are security really happy to have supporters from all 4 corners of the ground (of both sets) converging on one area??
I appreciate the new laws around smoking and I know we are in a minority but some common sense needs to be applied to this or I can see people just ignoring the rules or (more likely) trouble. If you add together a local derby, beer, young men and stupid rules that are badly enforced..............
