Remarkable match report in the SMH this morning. Begins "Newcastle Jets manager Richard Money is adamant "one moment of brilliance" is all it will take to keep his side in the hunt for the inaugural A-Leage title."
they're THAT close! they've lost three home games on the trot, conceding 9 goals. These "moments of brilliance" are obviously hard to come by in Newcastle. This James Gardiner can write. His match report is so good, Newcastle run out moral victors. The whole article is about the Jets, while the winners of the tie are referred to 4 times.
Despite this kind of media bias, the Mariners keep doing it on the field. Maybe the NRL is paying journos to dis Central Coast football and vindicate their inability to establish a club here. RL is gone on the Coast from now on, and I think a lot of people are embarassed by that.

Scumcastle are going to try and infiltrate Friday nights game. But I don't think they realise excatly who they are dealing with. If the marinaters supporters can intimidate the jets at home, what do you think is going to happen when they enter our territory, our grounds. They posted this on their website . . . i think mainly to excuse away their loss. After the 1st leg of our Minor Semi-Final clash with Central Coast, the boys are currently 1-0 down, despite playing in front of a very vocal home crowd on Friday night. [glow=red,2,300]A lot of respect is owed to the large Central Coast contingent in the crowd who did a magnificent job of supporting their team. [/glow] But now it's our turn. We must travel to the Coast in large numbers. We need to inspire the Jets to claw back the 1-0 deficit
Hmmm . . . . What do you think???Judging on past performances from the Newcastle supporters, they will have enough trouble trying to fill out their allocated bays at CCS, let alone worrying Bay 16 and the Marinators. Also, from past experiences at SFS, Suncorp, if their supporters try to "infiltrate" the Bay 16 area they are going to have to be rather quiet or they will find themselves being escorted off to the chant of "Cheerio, Cheerio". But what's their idea, to summons up support for their team or niggle us? Stupid if they choose the latter as we'll drown them out and their team won't get any benefit. They'd be better served to get as many as they can to their bays at CCS and sing their lungs out - that's what we do! I actually wrote that for the Newcastle supporters site. I don't know why you think we are going to get into Bya 16, I was just trying to drum up some support for the boys. See yous Friday... I better get my ticket soon! lol.

you newcastle guys may want to watch a fox replay. The marinators were loud and clear coming through my tv back home.
I hope the squadron try and put on a few songs. I'll enjoy watching them get chanted down by the marinators.
"Can you here the squadron sing" "i cant here a bloody thing"

I got 2 the game 5 min before kickoff, and walked there thru a park. In the park were 2 massive sewer channels running straight thru it. God your town stinks like shit. But the point is, that as I was jumping over some shit 2 get 2 the ground, I could already hear our lads singing the house down, and it was still a good 5 min walk 2 the ground. Yet u claim u couldnt hear us from 50 meters away. Wake up 2 yourself, show sum respect, and on friday, come and have a go if u think your old enough.

If you had read my comments a bit closer, you would see that I posed the question of what your intentions were. (Teriyaki, the original quoter of your Forum's comments, did refer to the Marinators - rather than the Mariners - and "our territory". But I felt the original quote referred to you summonsing numbers to CCS for support of your team.)
