Agreed - if the rumours are true it's certainly a positive thing! I personally have heard nothing on it

finally?? apart from a limp ending to V2, the entire history of the club (so far) has been nothing but positive.
tad harsh

This is very good news for CCM. It shows the councils are behind our beloved team.

the big thing to get maximum value from it (and the other shirt sponsorships) is to get all the logos on the replica shirts. that way every fan with a current jersey is spreading the word not only about the mariners but about the sponsors too. future school did it with a few kids' jerseys and rebel did this last year with shirts sold at rebel, but the others didn't. main problem being that the deals were only sorted part-way through the season.

imo the sponsorship logo detracts most buyers. who wants to go around with a corporate insignia on ones chest?

I dont think a mariners shirt saying "central coast" on the front would stop anyone buying one

Its one of the more attractive logo's out there. i don't think it stands out on the front of shirt very well like some other logos (adelaide's sakai for instance) mind you, it is not nearly as invisible as newcastle's health for industry front of shirt
