I bet Archie Thompson and Danny Allsop are smarter than some of the people on this fourm.
According to an IQ test, fatty from the footy show is an smart person. So before you make assumptions about whether an person is dumb or smart, how about you get facts to back up your claim.

Here's a fact for you;
watching a an NRL game a few years ago on channel Nine. A try had just been scored and commentators were going over the slo-mo's of the try and then Mr IQ pipes in with, and It's the most profound impression of Vautin that's been burn't into my psyche for all eternity,
"Dead-set, he (the player that scored) has to be the best 'backer-upper'er' in the game."

intelligence does not equal knowledge.
They test your knowledge in those sorts of things. Archie and co could know a hell of a lot, and still be really simple. Like fatty can have high intelligence, but simply know very little.
Or you could be like most people and just relaise that IQ tests are pure baloney and something that can be taught.

All you have to do is watch some of the interviews with the players and see how long they think about an answer before they actually say something. Quick thinking is the way of the game.

Anyway, game shows just test general knowledge. Eg, what is the capital of South Africa. No technical type questions.

The backer upperer quote was Vautin sending himself up. spot on. but people who subcribe to anti-league feelings will never get it. fatty vautin, while being a complete dick(yes i do know for a fact), is very smart. he was very impressive on temptation(even though the questions for that promo week were a little simple). some of the players on the other hand who left school at 16,17 says words like 'undescribable'. basically what i sm saying is that what sport stars say in front of the camera does not nessecarily a good indication of their general knowledge. |

 that looks like a 0, 8, or 9 as the first number of clarky's score doubt it is a zero so it looks like he has raked it in oh, and who was trying to say that archie is smart? |
