I vote Melb
For those who have not experienced Tard Dome it is a must.
Hopefully Gumps will be on the park this time.

I hate this draw from travelling away. We get a whole 4 saturday games all at home, and 12 sunday games (8 of which are away)
My vote is for Perth away both times we play perth away is in the second half of the season so more time to organise it.

Who did you play there last year? Was it Knights? The Jets. They were a rabble at the time - we walked a 2-1 victory and got horribly drunk en route and at the game. My memory of it is chain-smoking up stairs at The Cross (nightclub in King's Cross) at 6am the next morning having then been going ~20hrs straight. Mental. Will be decent vibe at the stadium with your lot down the other end as well. I look forward to it. ;D Game in Canberra and all you can remember is 6am at the Cross, now that is quality.

Perth would be nice - but I think for it to work properly it would have to be on a Saturday.... purely because of the travel involved. I see no reason why 20 or so can't do a Sunday game, but for a mass trip of a few hundred Saturday would be the best for Perth.
HOWEVER, for Brisbane and Melbourne - all 3 days are very workable, and in the case of Melbourne there are flights departing for Sydney and Newcastle up to 10pm on the Sunday night. Some good options for early on the Monday morning too.
I've already called some peeps and including myself there's at least 5 going to Melbourne for that September game, so I'm throwing my vote behind Melbourne.

Shame to see the FFA again did not put in a saturday night match for us against bling. Not that I dont enjoy a friday night in Syd, and it will certainly make me more likely to be able to play myself on the sunday, unlike last year .
Ill be looking to QLD or Melb for heading away.
I think our crowds tend to be pretty reasonable on sunday afternoons. Is a better time for families. Though not good for derbies

Nice to read we get a Saturday night match at home vs both bling and scum. Should make for good crowds.

My probable line up for away trips for season 3 is looking like
Melbourne in rd 4 or Adelaide in rd 6 Wellington rd 9 Perth Rd 13 including a weeks holiday +1 other in the official trip if it isn't one of the above.
good to see we still have NYE and against the tards.
In the last third of the draw we have Qld, Adelaide and Perth away as possible away trips. One of these three are probably best for an official trip as it allows the greatest time to organise it.

well it the draw sounds ok, but it never seems like we get enough home games.
Also i dont like a big break in home games, but there isnt much can done about it right now i guess

Also i dont like a big break in home games, but there isnt much can done about it right now i guess We never do! 21 games at bluetongue would be the way go the longest we have away is two weeks in a row which to be honest is better than it has been in the past. You'll never get a draw that is home away home the whole way so to only have two games away in a row is acceptable. it happens to us 4 times and two of those involve trips to either sydney or newcastle.

is there anything wrong with being confident??? better than saying 2 games into the season "we won't make the finals" who knows whats going to happen during the season
