Jedinak and Tiatto to go at it all night.  You'd think that Tiatto would be more a defensive mid-fielder and be up against Hutch in this case. If I were Lawrie I'd go back to the ole formation with Hutch put out to the right and move Gump's back into his usual middle position where he would give just as much curry to Tiatto as Jedinak would. I can see Hutch getting smashed and bashed and Tiatto carded..... he won't be able to help himself with more pressure put on his performance with being moved from defender to midfielder. |

Same 11 as last week, except with the obvious changes of Trotty in for Danny and Brown in for Heff. The bench is Pondeljak, Simon, Redmayne and Clarky.
Formation hasn't been shown yet.
There have also been talk about Elrich joining, and Mike Cockerill suggested he may join as a guest player.

Dippa got the nod! good onya mate, obviously pre-season experience far exceeds a season in the VPL (Trotty had a full and successful season for Lightning as well).
Hope he has a big one and keep's us a clean sheet.

It's been the type of game many have predicted. Queensland have dominated possession and attacked, but been poor up front. While we've failed to keep hold of the ball, although the conditions haven't helped.

15 mins to go and QLD seem to be playing rather one-dimensional. Everything they do seems to involve Reinaldo.
ATM though, it seems to be working, Trott has been forced into two excellent saves.

That one off the header, where he dived to his left, was a brilliant save....

Ok, now I've settled down. Two World Class saves from Trotty, especially the blind header from Reinhaldo. Not so sure about the dummy.
Kwassy's goal was a beauty, but I think Mrdja got a touch.
Queensland need a finisher, badly. Our last gasp defence was outstanding.
Boogs was great, and I though Hutch was very strong.
Well, well, we win in BrisVegas, about time. I'm spent, time for bed. What a thrilling night, and, WELL DONE LADS!!!!
