Good to see Serious14 starting an internet war on the scum fourm Seriously, their responses are just........ staggeringly immature. Do they even read what they've written before they press submit?? Basically, it's "you're gay and you're shit". Nice that they're so open minded up north. some scum guy came up to me at the end of the game and said he fu*&JKH my mum so dont mess with them

good game lads. Shame we didn't get to see more goals.
There was alot of chances for both sides.
I dont see how the Squadron was poor form. Its was farking top day. Good numbers, loud and no shit happen. Just a bit of Friendly banter!
But think you lads would have to agree how poor Breeze's form was. Terrible ref.

Tommy's goal maybe goal of the year, the best this year I have seen, similare to Nick Carl's last year.
IMO to many long balls to forwards from the backs rather than playing thu midfield. Given Hutch, Tommy, Gummpy & Kaw there is talent to hold ball and create from the middle.
Again IMO Jedi & Boogs were our best on park, overall I through our mid field came off second best not by a long way, maybe to much ball going over there heads.
What about Jardel’s dive what a pussy !!!!!!
Re the changes I think Sash & Damien just ran out of puff. I wonder Y Hemp did not start someone told me he had the flu.
Crowd seems a lot more than 12, 600 odd ground seem over three quarters full, again a rumour I heard was Ticketing system broke down and over two thousand came in without tickets and many left after getting tied of waiting in queue for ticketing system to get back online

I would have taken a draw before the match with our depleted backline, however it's very disappointing to concede with 8 minutes remaining or whatever it was. We have to get smarter at defending a lead. I'm not having a go at Lawrie because I love the bloke, but as others are saying, he's subs are very difficult to understand. Every week they seem strange to me. He always seems to be taking the wrong blokes off. How good was Tommy? That finish was superb. Champion footballer and the best player we have. I just hope he's not pissed at Lawrie and leaves at the end of the season for having almost no game time this season. You just can't have that sort of quality left to rot on the bench. There's seven other teams would kill to have him. One last thing, we seem to lack composure at times going forward and turn the ball over far too easily. We're not maintaining possession like we should be. Think back to the way we held possession and moved the ball around against the tards. The ball does all the work and the opposition get tired and frustrated. Possession = goal scoring opportunities, goal scoring opportunities = goals (except for Roar of course). Still can't complain too much. Who would have thought we'd be three clear, one-third into the season. However, we seriously need to raise the bar if we are going to finish on top of the ladder. The gap is closing. fantastic post

*groans at the poor grammar* I'm sure they have schools in Newcastle, I have friends that live (or at least lived) there and I KNOW they went to school in their school days, who knows maybe I'm too old now and I've lost touch with all the young'nes. (Yes, I do realise I'm not even 21 yet.)

Fish, that sort of thing should be reported to the police and to the CCMFC and raised with the Jets management. Disgusting behavior and I'm sorry to hear it happened. Those responsible should face criminal charges and be banned from attending the HAL. Those poor people must have been terrified. Totally unacceptable.

I hope the police were informed let's see how "well 'ard" they are then, stirring and chanting and stuff is fine, but when it's illegal or racist (well Newcastle don't care about that bit) that's too far.

Police patrol where they can but as the crowd was pretty large you would say it would be pretty hard for them to be everywhere. No I was not there but have been informed Police were involved but its hard when the offenders run like dogs when others step in to help.

I agree - the police have a VERY hard job and for the most part do it pretty damn well.

Just a bunch of wanker kids TBH, why would anyone bother with them?? Their 1st trip out of Newcastle clutching a Centrelink travel voucher. They will have lots to talk about at the skate park tomorrow before the glue kicks in. Security inside and outside the ground was just a joke, we were watching them smuggling in grog but none of the peckerheads in flouro managed to catch on.
3rd game running we have been poor and I suspect that we are not building from the back due to our injuries. Lumping long balls forward doesnt seem to be working guys.
As in the Perth game, we scored for our only moment of quality when we had the ball ON THE f***ing GROUND!!!
Subbing Mori was ok, he has done absolutely nothing to justify being out there in my opinion and Tommy and Saso must be considered for next week. Mori worked for us thi year but I think age might just have caught up with the guy.
