Just a bunch of wanker kids TBH, why would anyone bother with them?? Their 1st trip out of Newcastle clutching a Centrelink travel voucher. They will have lots to talk about at the skate park tomorrow before the glue kicks in. Security inside and outside the ground was just a joke, we were watching them smuggling in grog but none of the peckerheads in flouro managed to catch on. 3rd game running we have been poor and I suspect that we are not building from the back due to our injuries. Lumping long balls forward doesnt seem to be working guys. As in the Perth game, we scored for our only moment of quality when we had the ball ON THE f***ing GROUND!!! Subbing Mori was ok, he has done absolutely nothing to justify being out there in my opinion and Tommy and Saso must be considered for next week. Mori worked for us thi year but I think age might just have caught up with the guy. I suspect that the league is just too physical for him this season. Unfortunately the same may be said for Nik Mrdja.

They are indeed Bakery. But what gives anyone the right to do that? Typically only a bogan would get any sense of achievement by terrorising an innocent woman and her kid. It's just over the top, understanably the police can't catch all the bogans, it'd be nice though.

Mrdja, the training seems to physical for him really, I really hope he gets some fitness because really it's got to be his career on the line this season.

I doubt its a fitness thing, more like a chronic condition that probably will be with him all his life.
Sadly, I suspect we wont see him in V4 (if indeed we see him again in V3)

I don't think Lawrie can consider giving him another contract if his injury proneness continues.

I'm not convinced, I know the Mariners physio and I don't think it's a chronic condition at all, if it is he hasn't been entirely honest, if you're suggesting it's chronic from now, then he just needs to work harder (which I think he's done this year)

Good work Serious, I know it's wrong to poke fun at them and all, but the reaction is brilliant. :] In a silent moment of reflection, I almost felt bad for them - what with them being so shit and all. Seriously though, tonight's effort says it all really. Loudy, Muz, and his well 'ard mates have proven themselves to be nothing more than an embarassment to their city (and that's saying something) and the league in general. But then again, I need a lesson in being a football supporter, because I have no idea. Loudy said so, so it must be true. If anyone of them bags you or comes in here spewing forth their "1-0, and you f*cked it up" bollocks, just fire back with "1-1, and you dropped a place". It kinda shuts them down. Re: the kicking of that lady's car. If you want a "dog c*nt" act, then that is it right there. I'd suggest kicking in a Squadron members car, but that would be expecting too much for one of them to actually own a car in the first place.

Enough of this crap, by even responding to their lame taunts we are just dignifying it, back to the game! I wouldnt be too cut up about it if i was Simon, the kids good and has potential, but he cant honestly think he is ready to take it upon himself to be the mariners leading striker if both mrdja and petrovski were injured, things like that can ruin reputations, it nearly killed kwasnik last year and he is a much better player than Simon. Mentioned this a little while back and i hate to say it but i think i was proved right tonight, i mean once Petrovski and Mori were off, Simon basically had three sitters that either of them would of buried and he managed to mess them up, i mean what about that one on the edge of the box, the ball fell right to his feet for him and he spent about 3 seconds (which is a LONG time for any striker hoping to do anything) looking at the ground deciding what to do, and i mean...of all the games to try and blood the kid, today!?! Sigh, alas no more, i just hope the next time he comes on its not when we need a goal, but when we are atleast 4 goals infront!

I'm waiting for Timmyv or Newieutd to come on and explain to us how it is just "friendly banter". First off i would like to say im offended that you imply i am not reasonable person and try to justify anything to defend the jets/jets supporters. (i maybe reading a bit more into that comment then intended, but i am offended none the less) To be honest i was not there to see what you are talking about, but i can guarantee if i did see it i would have done soemthing about it. On the way out of the stadium i broke up a couple of things that got heated (started by both sides). If this car thing did happen and was as bad as you say i apologise.

Good to see Serious14 starting an internet war on the scum fourm I dont understand how that is beneficial to anyone. Oh and to the guys that said g'day to me at CCLC, thanks. You seem to be a good bunch of guys. Although you seem to have the same problem with emo/teeny boppers interferring at home games. I wish we could do something to get rid of them. Thanks again

I thought we were pretty awful (similar to the Perth game, from what I can gather.) Not sure what the defence are thinking of by playing high balls to Mori & Sasho. I think Mori could still be a useful asset, provided he has someone alongside him who's willing to do a bit of serious running. I know Sasho scores a few, but geez he's a lazy git. We need: Wilko back, failing that Vidmar would do. Jedinak back in midfield, ALONGSIDE GUMPS PLEASE! Either Mori or Petrovski up front alongside Simon or even (am I actually saying this??!!) Kwasnik. Finally, didn't actually see any trouble myself, but was pretty impressed by Newcastle's travelling support, or at least the numbers they brought. Not going to get tagged as a Squadron member, am I??!!

Just saw the replay of the incidents.
Griffo = 10 weeks min. very bad form by him Vukovic = Should have got a red card. Last defender, nowhere near the ball and he raised his leg to get him.
Now i might be being a jets supporter here, but i really feel sorry for Griffo. There will be so many times defenders can come and hack the crap out of him and receive nothing due to his past. That is wrong plain and simple. Players need to be protected agaisnt this type of thing. Yesi know what your arguements are, but his diving earleir in his career, he deserves it. Seriously Petrovski has come a long way since his good old diving ways (still does it on occasion). HE deserves the same protection as anyone else.
Im not saying the referee was a cheat, far from it.
But these 2 stats just dont mix CC = 11 fouls 1 yellow Jets = 16 fouls 6 yellows.
Oh and i think there should have been 3 reds in that game Griffo (you know why) Vukovic (last man) D'puzzo (tackle late in second half - frustration, which surprises me he is such a calm guy, i can only assume he had been taunted or reacted to the crap challenges on him)

newieutd - there's a discussion of the incidents in the 'Joel Griffiths is a c*nt' thread. As for Danny's challenge - Griffiths was angling away from goal, hence a RC wasn't possible. I thought Danny got a touch on the ball anyway.
was that D'puzzo challenge over near the benches after a bit of a scuffle for the ball with about 4 or 5 players?

Yes, stupid challenge by Adam. a player got away from the scuffle, kicked the ball ahead and then Adam swung and got him deliberately Mind you the way he was being hacked all night i would have done the same.

Don't think any of us, if we're being honest, could deny that Newcastle deserved a point. Yeah, I accepted that result as well. We both had great chances to take the three on numerous occaisions and didn't take them so 1 point each is ok by me.

Dibo and I had some old c**t who was missing teeth yelling that we have the worst divers in the league. I just stood there and thought, WTF? I'd be supprised if half of the newy fans that were there last night hadnt had a few to many drinks.
