Could someone please tell me why one man gets the right to hold the future of youth players careers in his hands without having to answer to anyone as to why and why do people think that this one person is qualified to make such decisions?
Has the TWO amalgamated clubs NOT learnt anything from their pasts?
They are certainly heading down familiar paths.

It should also be noted that this one person is not from the coast, nor does he know the coast history. He has also be known to state that the coast, committee and players are all backward up here? The Youth developers Job is to develop the youth of the coast and strengthen the club, NOT WEAKEN IT.

Most of us don't know who you are talking about - and for the forum's sake please don't name names - as an outsider but an informed observer of NSW football it seems Central Coast has lagged behind other areas in recent years - the merger of Mingara Lakers and the Coasties hasn't set the youth leagues on fire either! When you spend some time looking at senior club football in the Illawarra for example, or junior in some Sydney associations. Whatever the case the Central Coast needs to get its collective act together. Just my opinion!

Just my opinion! form an an insider these are all fair comments kev however, in my past five years of being involved with football on the coast the Central Coast Soccer Association has come on in leaps and bounds in terms of its professionalism let's hope they continue up this path as the AGM last month was a massive shit-fight and the repurcussions of this meeting could really hurt central coast soccer

Macca, Not soar grapes, just letting the rest of the soccer fraternity know what was really going on.
And as it would appear i might have been on the right track. However for the rest of the youth league they now may have a chance.

Most coaches in sydney get paid for their coaching efforts but its not done up here. And when we do get someone who has a bit of know how or knows whats needed, they get driven away by the old fuddy duddies still in there with their strong hold of soccer on the coast

Froggy,
A very conservative estimate of players in Sydney. I'd say it would be closer to 15. Add another 15 or 20 playing club because they are disenchanted with the set up or uncertainty due to financial concerns, little wonder we are mid table in SYL. Rather than being competitive in PYL.

This was only the youngsters i know and it was supposed to sound like thier was many others (as thier is ) The financial concerns should not be an issue to our youngsters because they dont understand. More so parents are the real enemy ( ??) understandably they want the best for thier kids thats just natural ..............BUT How many of these kids will actually make the cut in the long run eventually they get fed up with the travel and want to catch up with the life they never had ie parties drinking girls. The kids who actually tough it out in the CCUFC or local teams are generally the ones who will make it Think about the what you are doing when you take your kids to syd .
