the team is made up of sean aka permoboy/shaved head boy jorome aka golden boy mitch aka bearnaitor phil aka jimmy eggy aka eggy and some guy i know as juz we play at west gosford indoor centre, or what ever it is. (behind hungry jacks)
so far we have won 2 games draw 1 and have also lost one game 5-1 - won 0-4 - lost 2-2 - even 5-3 - won
we are a gun side who just cant seem to put the ball in the back of the net most of the time we are infront of the keeper. tatically we make it up as we go, and our skill is second only to the real mariners team.
our next match is friday 12th 8-30 vs terrys.
if you want to come along we usually go for drinks at either the settlers or the cclc afterwards. and if eggys drinking your bound to have a good laugh. ;D

There are plans for a outdoor team. Watch this space. And there are enough quality players in the marinators for probably 4 indoor teams, but im sure Sean and myself will be putting a futsal team together. I would actually like the idea of more than 1 marinators based team in the 1 comp, good healthy competition.

ok, this is the indoor thread. when we start working out the whole outdoor team we will send put it up here, and you can put your name down. found out tonight that the minmum fee for our own team is $1000, which is very easily obtainable, infact you would pay less for rego than normal to cover it.

At this stage I would also like to add that Dinamo Marinators, the outdoor version, will be adopting the mariners own "no dickhead" policy. If there is to much interest, as in to many people putting their hand up to play, we will obviously be having a selection process. Basicly, what im saying here is if your a dickhead, or have no skills whatsoever, you wont be playing. Sorry if this is a harsh reality check, but someone had to say it.

ok ive just got on the net and saw all this. Tiger, Bear and myself have been talking amongst each other and had said that we would pursue the idea of entering the Dinamo Marinators as a club entity on the Coast (similar to o35's using their own titles such as "the Cavemen")
Bear and myself are doing the messy stuff right now. and we will definately need all the help we can get in the later stages of this. there is so much to consider, and alot that people can help out with. so watch this space and we will update with requests for volunteers or questions etc.
right now im sure we can meet the fee after one or two A-league seasons raising some money, or dedicated supporters of this cause chipping. i dont think we will meet the ground hire costs, as there is nowhere for us right now. leagues club would be ideal though.... thats one thing we need to buzz around about (see, there is alot to do) but in years time of this club, we might have a ground one day.
the first team we will try and organise would definately be an AA team, probably in the 4's or above for now. after a season or two, and the interest growing, hopefully more teams will eventuate. we just have to get our own name as a club.
strips will also be considered, but we still havent weighed up every aspect of this, seeing there will be alot of fundraising issues to do with that.
for now we will enjoy entering the Dinamo into the local indoor and futsal comps.
but yeah, thats what is coming up, and what a few of us will be working on for the next year. id love to see the club start up in 2007, but id say itd be definatley a goer for 2008
