I watched the under 13A's play after my sons game was cancelled on an ajoining field a little earlier in the day. I have seen the kincumber team play a couple of times this year and know them to be a very good side. (not that ourimbah isnt who impressed me as well).
I think the kincumber 13A's had one of those nightmare grand finals. I am sure they are far better than the 4-0 loss they copped on saturday.

hey jolly roger, it was one of them games and we do play better. but it was good to be league champs and as i said to the boys its harder to win that than to win a grand final. and thanks for saying that we are a pretty good side.

Excellent is probably a better description on reflection.
Alot of kids play in the under 13 division and to finish on top of the heap of the A division is a credit to you guys. I actually refereed you guys in a trail match at the start of the year at Umina High school (fairly sure it was u guys).
My son goes to school with some of your team.
Are you the coach Johnny??

I don't see what the rush is to start talking about canning semi finals and eleiminating teams without kicking a ball.
If they do that make sure they doi it to PL1 as well

I only mentioned it was a possibility. At this stage unlikely, but if we have another weekend like last weekend.......
I don't see why it would be necessary, but I'm sure it's an option. Fortunately they're not doing that.
I bet right now they're wishing they hadn't crammed the majors and minors into 1 week. Oh well - fingers crossed for next weekend!

ok, the updae from last saturday games is that ccf is going to play them on sat 23rd sept from u14 up. so see what happens. obviously it will help the teams that are still playing in CofC but it is what happens on the day.
good luck to other marinators on this forum if your semi and or finals are on this weekend. may the sun shine and goals are at a premium.

yes you are right, on friday i heard that next weekend, now when talking it is wed night. if you go to ccf website they aren't committing to anything as yeat and for the coaches and players of those teams must be frustrating.

Cheers Yeah I thought Kariong would take out the AA7 title this year. We played them 3 times this year and every time we got smacked. Much quicker and sharper in attack. Mind you most of the time we were battling just to get 11 players on the field. We would hold them for the first 20mins and then fall away due to running out of puff. When we last played them we had 9 on the field and lost 8 - 0. Anyway congrats to Kariong AA7 for taking out the premiership. Back to the 6th division for them next year.
