comp starts this week

We (Kariong WAA4) played Umina and unfortuately lost 7-1.

We were actually leading 1-0 at one stage! Our goal keeper and lady of the match saved us over and over again, after injuring her hand early in the first half.

This was our first competition game. A few ladies have never played football till yesterday. The rest, except one, have only played one game before. The Umina ladies were very encouraging, which was well appreciated, especially since we play them another three times. We look forward to playing Umina again and continuing to learn.

I went down 2-1 in the first game, was a decent perfomance but slackend off in the 2nd half, and yours truely bput our goal in.
