Gos WAA3S went down 3-1 to Kincumber, which means we have now passed our entire goal tally from last yr, but the first win has yet to happen.

more injured than fit lol.4 weeks well be back to full strength. Yep, we are injury ravaged and played a very handy woy woy side losing 4-2. Fish had to play in goals first half and re-did his calf. I had my ankle heavily strapped and was on pain killers. Sacko was playing injured (and hung over), as was a couple of other players. We looked comfortable at the break against Woy Woy leading 1-0 and honestly it should have been 6-0 with the amount of one-on-ones we missed. New keeper in the second half and some more missed chances before they scored a fantastic header. We hit back with a goal and then were denied a blatant penalty by their club referee (in a tiger's top) which should have made it 3-1. They scored a couple of more excellent goals as they went up 3-2. Their fourth came from a half way free kick which went through the keeper's hands. Disappointed but we should have finished them in the first half with the countless opportunities as our bodies started to fall apart second half. The lack of a keeper really hurts as well. Confident we can do Woy Woy next time with a full strength side but to date they seem like the best side we have played. A full game in goals for me this weekend as the ankle which I hurt badly six months ago is no good again. Thanks to Eggy, Dru and Roddy for the support.

A massive congrats to the kariong girls who had to play top of the table Umina with ten players. First round Umina beat them 7-1.
Anyway they managed a 1-0 loss and were unlucky not to draw.
Points are certainly around the corner.

Points are certainly around the corner. Plenty of subs for Umina as well, then the kariong girls injured there keeper during the warm up but who played the whole game (only the first half of the game in goal) just to make life a little more difficult. Given the defense oriented gameplan they managed a bit of time up near the Umina goal in the first half. it was only one mistake that cost them the draw. Congrats again.
