Woy Woy only managed a 1-1 draw at home to Kincumber, meaning mighty SEU are alone at the top of the table. This is how it looks: P W D L B GF GA GD PTS SEU 7 4 1 2 0 15 7 8 13 OUR 8 3 3 2 0 24 17 7 12 BER 7 3 3 1 0 14 8 6 12 WOY 7 3 3 1 0 13 9 4 12 KIN 7 2 5 0 0 19 12 7 11 AVO 8 3 2 2 0 16 14 2 11 TOU 7 2 4 2 0 12 13 -1 10 TER 8 2 3 3 0 17 19 -2 9 GOS 7 2 2 3 0 13 16 -3 8 KAN 7 0 0 7 0 2 30 -28 0 Looks as tho it aint a 2 horse race as predicted by some earlier in the year... Very exciting season..... Anyone's comp at this stage...

Less than 2 wins separating the top place from the bottom place (bottom place that actually has points). GD between those teams varies by 8. Looks like this season is going to go down to the wire - looks quite possible that finals placings will be decided on goal difference. Is it goal difference, or goals for that they use?
I really feel for Kanwal. I've played in a team that got smashed every week before, makes for a very long and frustrating and unenjoyable season :-(

wow, cannot believe that the table tightened up even more
next week's washout replays should be interesting
we had a hard fought 0-0 Toukley - only our second clean sheet of the season which was awesome as it was a much improved defensive display
our strikers and attacking midfielders were all injured coming into the match so they lacked the usual spark at front
they also came across probably the best defence we have played this year

Gosford MAA5 won against Avoca 3-2 and Gosford WAA4s won against Kariong 1-0 Congrat's to Gosford WAA4's beating us 1-0. It was a good game. As per normal our second half was alot better than our first. We did score, however, we were offside. Better luck next time... Our first win is coming, soon I hope.

Gos MAA1 were lucky to hold out for a 0 all draw against Kin on Sun....
Congrats to Kariong for scoring against Gos (even if it was ruled offside). The lead up to it was great. Congrats to Gos for their win.
Next week is shaping up to be a massive football weekend with 2 games to be played by Gos WAA3's and the Thunder/Mariners game on Sat.

Anyone's comp at this stage... those types of comments after one game certainly fired me up they were clearly wrong BTW i have never seen a comp this tight before. with all respect to kanwal it is probably a nine horse race. personally it is great to see my team on top of the table and with the least number of goals conceeded as we have come up against some quality teams

Wyoming 9-0 Terrigal in MPL1 today. not a good day for the Tez, Ref was a tool, both teams agreed I'll bet he's read this post....but I'm also guessing he's not crying himself to sleep over it. So what's the problem with Terrigal? Are they seriously overgraded? Or have they suffered some sort of crisis? Or do the results just not reflect the way they are playing..?

had a dude sent off for practically nothing (allegedly swore but no one else heard it and our player said he didn't). that was after about 8 mins. i think we would have lost by 4 or 5, they were simply better than us. but it was like 10 vs 12 out there. we got nothing whole game. dunno who he was, wyoming players said they had the same dude against killarny 2 weeks before and someone from their team got sent for the same sort of offence (supposed offence)

They had a midfield, and we didn't - that was about the only difference between them and us.

I watched the game and the referee did a good job. He was fair the whole way throughout the match and the player who was sent off has only himself to blame. Wyoming were simply a class above Terrigal. They are a well coached side and it really showed on the weekend. I believe they were 2-0 up when the player was sent off and had the game well within their control. The sending off seemed to kill the moral for Terrigal and from there it was a goalathon. The Wyoming side used the extra man perfectly and had several other missed opportunities which could have been goals. The Wyoming reserve grade side also managed to score with the final kick of the game, winning 2-1. These results made me feel a bit better after our loss (Wyoming AA1) 4-1 to Kanwal haha.

Sideshow, you're a funny kid sometimes, no. just apologised for something that happened, that takes a lot in my opinion, we don't really like apologising, so good on him.
