If i had to choose I'm definitely behind Sydney, but imagine rubbing it in their faces: We beat Man U and you lost to a pack of sheep

Indeed they have. We dont really have the forwards to capitalise ourselves. I think they will probably get better with it in time though, I think it's a new backline thing. As I type, 2-2 now.
77' Goal to Smith for Auckland - long ball out wide is again flicked on and substitute Reginald Davani takes to byline and cuts back to Smith who scores past Bolton.

We beat Man U in 20 minutes - and they needed 93 to beat Auckland City?!

Thats a great result....glad they won but part of me is glad it wasn't toooo easy for em! Auckland gotta be the hardest opposition in the oceania group do we think?

Auckland City FC have a couple of decent players in Van Steedan, that thug Perry, and Urlovic! I would not be suprised if the Tahitian teams and the Solomon Islands team were a handfull. Sydney have some problem with defence with Rudan out - Laurie and that's it - and that's not too comforting for them.

Sydney FC leading Sobou FC 6-1 after 62'
Sydney has now qualified for the semi finals along with its next opponent AS Pirea, who surprisingly beat Auckland City!
Strikers David Zdrilic and Saso Petrovski both scored hat-tricks, and single goals by Todd Brodie, Alejandro Salazar, and Iain Fyfe in the comfortable win.
Full time - Sydney 9-2
Watch out Bling FC, for AS Pirea of Vanuatu!
