Is there a valid reason why Frank Farina persists with Muscat surely there is another option.Maybe its just me but the side is the best weve had individually for a long time but they persist with him.I dont feel he offers anything apart from a few dodgy challenges and a customary yellow.

Totally agree
If Muscat has a part to play at the 2006 world cup I'm Nigel Boogard.
We have young defenders! Kisnorbo, Cansdell-Sheriff, Madaschi, the list goes on. Even if they aren't ready to make the step up...it must surely be more beneficial to our national team to give them a taste whenever possible than to persist with Muscat who, well, read fish' post.

I think there is still some undying loyalty toward him from farina but he has chosen other younger players everywhere else and given them starts.Cahill,Elrich etc.I will only have 1 memory of muscat and that was that tackle on the frenchmen in melbourne(forget his name) but I was at that game and was embarresed by it.Ok Ok he did score that penalty against Uraguay to but thats it.

The Footyroos have Sydney FC syndrome, play some old fogies and a few young guns and think you'll be great in the future. WT would be better than Muscat

alenlisic mate i appreciate your loyalty but in all fairness what does he offer?and to say he was excellent is hard to cop. There are 5-6 younger players who could do what he does and more all they need is the chance and that was what I was trying to say.I have started saving to go to the next world cup and after missing out last time due to many factors but primarily a defensive line that struggled I would hate to send my wife on another holiday while I stay home and sulk

Look i'm not been biased or anything. I think he great in defence, not so good going foward though. We need experienced players in the world cup quilifys, after that i agree he needs to go and gice players like jade north a chance on right

Too many syllables in the third line, get rid of the 'in' and it'd fit AND could work as a Mariners & Footyroos thing.
