Football fans with Foxtel can start licking their lips - Foxtel will announce on Thursday (most likely during "Total Football") that this season Fox Sports will be broadcasting up to four English Premier League Matches Simultaneously. During Broadcasts of EPL games, viewers will be able to 'press red' and bring up a split-screen of multiple Premier League matches that are being played at that time, move the cursor to the game they want to see and watch it in full screen. The feature will be present from this Weekend's EPL matches. Think that's too much English Football? Well Foxtel will have you covered from September, when Setanta Sports will arrive on Foxtel (at a cost of $15 a month - so it's only for dedicated fans). Setanta Sports will broadcast games from many leagues around Europe, including the German Bundesliga, Scottish Premier League, Portugese League, French Ligue 1 and more. Setanta also broadcasts a lot of international matches, so you can expect comprehensive coverage of upcoming Euro 2008 qualifiers.

I think it would be for all Foxtel users. I base this on the fact that there is a similar sort of set-up on Saturday nights for the NRL, and that feature is accessible on my system and I don't have IQ.

I was hoping for Digital Interacive features like different camera angle options etc to kick in soon.

No, you're not lockedinto that game once you've selected it. You're allowed to flick through them.

This Saturday the early game at 9:45pm EST on Fox Sports 2 is Sunderland v Spurs.

At midnight the game chosen is West Ham v Man City however if you don't want to watch that game, press the red button on your Foxtel remote and you will be launced into Viewers Choice. On your screen will appear four other matches, in this case Bolton v Newcastle, Derby v Portsmouth, Everton v Wigan and Middlesbrough v Blackburn. Navigate around the screen using your remote and chose which game you want to watch.

Last year Fox showed up to 6 matches live per week, this year it will be 9 or 10. The only game not on this weeknd is Arsenal v Fulham because of the time it's on. Sunday midday UK time.

It's illegal to show all 38 matches of a club's season but you'll probably see 35 or 36 LFC matches this coming campaign. There's 380 matches played in a season and you'll now get between 350-360 of them live on Fox Sports.

If you're getting your Fox Sports through Austar (people who live in the bush) then this feature won't be available until next month.

I reckon this is true. We didn't get the digital service for a while after it was released and fox footy active we got 2 months later than foxtel.
