Why bring colour into it unless you're being racist?
But on that note, if the FFA decide it isn't racist, then what's the justification for the suspension? Like other posters here, if not racial then I don't see how Monky is offensive. IS the FFA saying 'well it's not racist, but we don't want to upset the media so we better suspend you anyway, just in case'? I really can't understand what's going on here... unless they just don't want to officially admit that it was racist.....

If they deemed it racist the league would have had a massive public relations disaster and so far weve been pretty unscathed.By seasons end we'll all have forgotten about it,if it was racist the lad would be destroyed. He will have plenty of opportunities later dumb, uneducated tawt that he is

he has been ruled out of the victory game:
Jardel pulls out of Victory match
October 24, 2007 NEWCASTLE Jets star Mario Jardel has suffered another setback in his disappointing A-League season after being ruled out of the Jets' match with Melbourne Victory through injury.
The former Brazil striker suffered a back injury in training on Tuesday and will not travel with the team to Melbourne for their clash at the Telstra Dome on Friday.
"We are unsure of the extent of Mario's injury at this stage," coach Gary van Egmond told reporters.
"The physio is looking at Mario today and we will evaluate and monitor the injury from there.
"It's obviously very disappointing for Mario, he has been working very hard and putting in a great deal of effort and this has obviously set him back a little further."
Jardel, 33, has so far failed to make much of an impact in the A-League after being unveiled as the Jets marquee signing in August.
After spending the past three years on the sidelines, the twice European Golden Boot winner has struggled for fitness in playing just 106 minutes in six appearances over the opening nine rounds.
The Jets, though, appear set to boosted by the return of Olyroos star Stuart Musialik with the midfielder named in the squad after overcoming the hamstring strain which kept him out of last week's draw with Queensland Roar.
Buoyed by an impressive record against the reigning A-League champion, van Egmond boldly declared his side's intention to do what no other team has down in Melbourne this season – beat Victory.
"They're always a difficult team to beat, they're the reigning champions," van Egmond said.
"I don't think they've been beaten down there at the Telstra Dome for some time.
"But we'll take a positive attitude as we do every week.
"We're going to go there to get the three points."
The Jets have been Melbourne's bogey team since van Egmond was appointed to the top job in October last year.
Victory hasn't beaten Newcastle since, with the Jets winning their last two meetings last season – including a 1-0 win at the Dome – and then drawing 2-2 in September.
"We've got a tremendous record against Melbourne," van Egmond said.
"I'm sure Ernie (Merrick) along with his senior players are very knowledgeable of that fact, and I would suggest they will come out with all guns blazing in that first 10 or 15 minutes."
hahahahaha

And they are losing players before they take the field Yeah, Spencer on for Musialik prior to kick off. But the way Van Egmond was acting it looked like he didn't know what was going on. Apparently he is unwell
