Since this formidable streak however there have been no home wins for the Mariners, having lost or drawn the last four Hyundai A-League 2006/07 season matches.

Stats, Facts & Milestones: Melbourne's mid-week signing of 18-year-old Sebastian Ryall brings to four the number of players currently aged under 20 in the Melbourne Victory squad (Leigh Broxham, Mitchell Langerak, Kaz Patafta and Ryall). This is the most number of current under 20 players in any Hyundai A-League squad, the same as Queensland Roar. Ryall becomes the 13th player from the 2007 AFC Under 20 Championship (Australia's historic first Asian U-20 Championship) to join a Hyundai A-League club in 2007/08.

"Noel Spencer Derby" should replace the "F3 Derby" IMO. Sounds better and would add a bit more passion in the derby.

having spencer playing for the Jets only adds spice to it now which is something only good for the game.....plus Mrdja (fingers crossed) will be playing them for the first time since the leg breaking incident ;D

And no I personally prefer F3 derby as the F3 is the name of the road which connects us to Newcastle and will never go away......Noel Spencer will 1 day retire and I certainly wouldn't his name being attached to our derby as a tradition.

Derbys always have been named due to an area or landmark in that area and IMO we should do the same.

My predictions for the rest of the round are:
Sydney 1-2 Adelaide (Brosque for sydney, Agostino and Djite for Adelaide)
Melbourne 2-1 Perth (Thompson x2 and Mate Dragicevic for Perth)
Newcastle 1-1 Queensland (Both teams will attack each other's goal throughout with 90% of shots off target. Joel Griifths to get the goal for Scum and someone to score from the spot for the pussycats.)

Brilliant play from Nathan Burns links up with Richie Alagich who slots it in from 14 yards. 1-0 Adelaide after 8 minutes.

3 minutes after scoring, Richie Alagich concedes a penalty after holding back Robbie Middleby. Ufuk Talay's shot is saved, but he taps in the rebound. 1-1, 13th minute.

Alex Brosque gave s=Sydney a lead for the first time this season when he got on the end of a Juninho through ball, before slotting it in the bottom corner.
A Horrible error in defence by Zadkovich allowed Djite to head the ball across the goal and find Nathan Burns who gave Adelaide the perfect reply to Sydney's goal.
Sydney Really should have wrapped this game up, Juninho has hit the bar twice from outside the area and debutant Patrick Silva knocked it high and wide from inside the six yard box. It has been a great game!
