A-League is shit at the moment...really...the other teams need to take a long look at themselves and follow our lead (not that we even played well on Thursday).
Ferrante has been the worst player in the league to date...Felipe was brilliant though. One of these Brazilians had to turn out well!
Where will Sydney's goals come from this season? Too many creators, no one making tearing runs in behind the defence, and no one with enough class to start putting them in consistently at the moment!

I think this was one of the worst rounds that the HAL has seen yet, no team was convincing in their matches and the finishing was just shit!
The Marienrs are really going to have to lift their game when they play Melbourne at the Dome this Sunday.

Agreed, the Perth v Bling game had NSL written all over it, terrible advert for the game and you would imagine that Ron Smith may be looking for work fairly soon.

Given he had something like 6 or 7 unavailable I think Perth did well to get a point and even possibly win.
Seriously when is Culina going to come clean and say hes been taking the piss with Zdrillic and give him back his cleaning job they uncovered in V1

Perth v Sydney had all the promise of a sh*t match from the outset. A lot of players injured and even more unavailable due to rep duties (both sides).
I'm happy to take the winnings from the Draw bet, but that's about all that can be said about the match.
Where are all the promising young Sydney & Perth players when they were needed? If anything, this match had the chance to give some kid a damned good chance to have some folks take notice. Doubt that neither Culina nor Smith had the bloody foresight to take a chance with some local player or two for the match.

It is a bad state of affairs when Promising NSW youngsters like Burns, Djite, Berger, Ryall etc as well as Proising Canberra younsters Ontong and Petafta, have to go to interstate to even get a run in the A League, or to seek a coach that will play them.
The NSW players were playing in Sydney for years, all spending time in state sides as well as NSWIS and the AIS so should have been well and truly identified by clubs in their own STATE.
Where are all the Promising Adelaide and Melbourne youngsters other than Leigh Broxham?

i head to wello on sunday for the jets game, was a great trip.
I defo recommend it as a away trip if any of you are thinking of heading over. The Fever lads will look after ya. Good lot of blokes
