"The businessman Con Constantine is also expected to approach the Government with plans for a Newcastle casino worth up to $100 million.

The owner of the Newcastle Jets soccer club and Parklea Markets, Mr Constantine has publicly revealed his interest in the project, which hinges on the availability of a second casino licence for the state.

Mr Constantine did not return calls yesterday."

The port unions could dabble into money laundering and standover capers!!!

A second licence has been sort for a long time if that's what you mean perm. By Packer. (Edit) also other very influential interested partys.
Con owns the former Rosebuds club in Adamstown & talks before his brain is in gear, so I tend to take anything he says with a grain of salt.
