I think England shoould be seeded, but France were 32nd at 2002 (OK not neccesarily but I like the sound of it) and did poorly in European qualifying and have been slipping down the rankings, why the hell are they seeded above Holland??? A little thing called 1998...

1 year at home should not be enough - that weighs less then a 2002 performance and Holland have been up there for ages. Oh well they'll have to actually do something this year if they want seeding for 2010 as 1998 won't count.

Playing at home has a huge bearing on the game. S.korea france etc. you just have to look at the olympic's and see how well the home team has done. I know I'm scot's but Engerland is SO over rated and generally by the press in engerland! then whan they fall to pieces they hammer them!!

The English press hammer the national team whenever they can, even if they win but play poorly!
Their players are good but can never find the right manager!
