he wont need a transfer request as he has a clause in his contract- where he can leave if they are relegated. there is probably a nominal fee attached to that clause, as i would doubt he would be able to leave for free

sorry i will clear myself up, in now way is neill equally as bad as nicholls.
was more just highlighting the fact that players should prove their loyalty before becoming captain. that will take more than a year.
