A report on the filth being taught to play football (albeit from a Fulham website)..........
Great result tonight. Chelsea were given a football lesson, despite the atrocious pitch and pre match psychology. I have no doubt that the sending off will provide a convenient excuse for moroninio to hide behind. However, Del horno made no attempt to play the ball and the ferocity of his challenge was evidently a premeditated plan to incapacitate a very talented play maker who was causing hell for Chelsea's defence all night. Del horno deserved to be sent off for intent, if nothing else.
Barcelona seem to be content with playing for a draw previous to the unfortunate own goal they conceded. But their reaction to that misfortune didn't disappoint as they majestically turned on the style that had Chelsea chasing shadows. Moroninio is very lucky Chelsea are not going to the away fixture 4 or 5 down. The amount of chances Barca missed was unbelievable, but their effortless ability to expose an inept over rated opposition can only be silently admired.
Chelsea woke a sleeping dog tonight and nearly got mauled to death. There can be no excuses from Moroninio. He tried everything possible to cheat and manipulate the situation and failed miserably. Chelsea were out played, out classed and out fought in every department and moroninio was tactically put to shame by his managerial opponent.
Maybe Rom will finally realise that Moroninio isn't the 'chosen one' and start questioning the huge amounts of money wasted on average players. Chelsea just don't display the technical talent their squad valuation suggests. The situation is laughable and amazingly over looked by the chelsea board.
Hats off to Barca, they destroyed Chelsea tonight. The return leg should be even more entertaining as Chelsea suffer another CL exit & Rom's plans to dominate domestic and european football take another inexcusable set back. With the financial resources Moroninio has been given, Chelsea are embarrassingly lacking in world class players. Barca's casual counter domination was almost comical.
Chelsea were given a practical definition of 'world class' tonight, and with the investment Red Rom has thrown at moroninio, this situation can only be deemed intolerable by their board.
My verdict of the match... EFFORTLESS OBLITERATION
You can steal your fortune from poor russian peasants (allegedly) but you cant buy class

'ref doesn't like me' trick is so right...look at the red card incident again if you can. was that a red card offence - NO - not even yellow - a big f***en nothing... the two pricks collided...... not impressed with the ref. I reckon it was a red, personally. Messi is an unbelievably talented young kid, and he was obviously targeted. Del Horno completely ignored the ball in order to body check and cream him. He pollaxed the kid. And not only that, about 10 minutes prior he belted Messi's knee in a truly disgusting tackle that should have been a straight red too. The two together were a definite red, even if he was (mind-bogglingly) yet to brandish a yellow for the first. Take a close look at the two challenged Del Horno put in on Messi, and tell me honestly they didn't deserve a red. That first was could have been a career ending tackle, on an 18 year old who could realistically end up one of if not the best player in the world. Seriously, players like Messi shouldn't have to put up with that shit, all because he'd made them look stupid.

The first tackle should have been a straight red. I looked forward to this match as the best teams in Europe, and Chelski came up well short

in think in those circumstances a red for pure intent is deserved. players need to be protected.

I dont find Aresnal the funniest thing about the champions league at the moment, the Breman keeper losing the ball and costing his team a spot in the next round.
