Yes that finish from Rooney was all class, most top strikers in that situation would try and roll it past the keeper where there wouldn't have been too many strikers who would have chipped the keeper, But that set up from Ronaldo was fantastic. Those two can only get better and they are both only 21, imagine what they are going to be like at 30.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v MANCHESTER UNITED, 0-4 Sun 4 Feb 2007
Manchester United restored their six-point lead at the top of the Barclays Premiership with an emphatic 4-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored the opener from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time after referee Mark Clattenburg ruled the Portugal winger had been brought down by Steed Malbranque in the box.
Ronaldo turned in another dazzling display on the flanks and set up Paul Scholes for United’s third after Nemanja Vidic had doubled the lead.
Ryan Giggs ran through to add to Spurs’ embarrassment late on and John O’Shea finished in goal as Edwin van der Sar broke his nose and United had used all their substitutes.
United had lost in the capital to Arsenal and West Ham United this season but held their nerve after Chelsea’s victory on Saturday had closed the gap, and their glut of goals either side of the break underlined their potential to seal a first title since 2003.
As for Spurs, they remain as far from the Champions League places as they are from the relegation zone. Despite a penalty claim of their own, they were swept aside and did not look like recording their first win over United since 2001, when Willem Korsten scored twice.
In a frantic opening, Scholes mis-timed a challenge on Aaron Lennon and Didier Zokora tripped Gary Neville, but it was Vidic who picked up the first booking when he went through the back of Jermain Defoe after nine minutes.
The first real chance of the game fell to Ronaldo but the Portugal winger blazed over after collecting the rebound when Michael Carrick’s header from a corner had been saved by Paul Robinson.
Predictably, Carrick was jeered by some home supporters on his return to White Hart Lane following his departure from the club in the summer for £18.6million. The midfielder had an early shot fly over and was typically effective protecting his back four, while Tom Huddlestone did the same for the hosts.
Huddlestone, billed as Carrick’s natural heir, set up Spurs’ first chance but Dimitar Berbatov, after taking a touch around Rio Ferdinand, saw his finish tipped around the post by Van der Sar.
United already had a penalty appeal turned down in the 29th minute when Anthony Gardner appeared to trip Henrik Larsson in the area, but referee Clattenburg waved away the Red Devils' protests.
But they were not denied a spot-kick on the stroke of half-time, with Ronaldo causing plenty of problems for the home defence and then slamming his penalty past Robinson.
Spurs had their own penalty shout when Pascal Chimbonda appeared to be held by Neville, marking a busy first half for Clattenburg.
Wayne Rooney had been living on the edge and earned a yellow card for a challenge on Lee Young-Pyo after he had lost the ball, and Chimbonda was also booked before the break.
Robinson tipped over from Vidic and Carrick after the break but was beaten in the 48th minute when Vidic met Carrick’s corner with a thumping header.
The lead was extended in the 53rd minute when Ronaldo surged down the right and crossed for Scholes to bundle in.
Spurs thought they should have had a penalty on the hour mark when Berbatov was challenged by Ferdinand, but Clattenburg waved play on.
Van der Sar had to tip over from Berbatov but United extended their lead with 14 minutes left when substitute Louis Saha played Giggs through to finish.
Berbatov could have pulled one back when he got behind the United defence but Van der Sar saved his effort.
The Dutch goalkeeper was unable to finish the game after a clash with Robbie Keane, and O’Shea played the remaining five minutes in goal.

United had already made all 3 subs by that stage and they couldn't bring Kuazczak on.
That dive from Ronaldo was a dive but from the refs angle the way the player went into Ronaldo it did look like he tripped, maybe Griffiths should learn a thing or two off Ronaldo, Not like that mattered anyways, Manchester United are just too good, they demolished them in the 2nd half. top display of football

Ronaldo signs new deal
Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed terms with Cristiano Ronaldo on a new five-year contract keeping him at the club until at least June 2012.
Sir Alex Ferguson said: “It is fantastic news, it emphasises the point that Cristiano is happy here and that he is at the right club.
"He has a great relationship with the team, staff and the fans and he will go on to be one of Manchester United’s great players.”
Cristiano added: “I am delighted. I spoke with Sir Alex and David Gill about my future and everyone knew that I wanted to stay.
"I am very happy at the club. I want to win trophies and hopefully we'll do that this season."

bout bloody time owen has signed with man utd
United confirms Hargreaves signing From correspondents in Manchester May 31, 2007 ENGLAND midfield player Owen Hargreaves will join Manchester United from Bayern Munich on July 1.
The English Premier League champion confirmed a deal had been reached with the German giant for the 25 year old, whom United has been chasing since the World Cup finals in Germany last year.
"Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed terms with Bayern Munich for the transfer of Owen Hargreaves," the club said in a statement.
"The player has also agreed terms with the club and passed his medical."
Hargreaves will sign a five-year contract when he returns from a family holiday in his native Canada at the end of next month, with the move formally taking effect on July 1.
The announcement ends a year-long pursuit of the Calgary-born star by Sir Alex Ferguson, and it comes less than 24 hours after United revealed it had agreed transfers in principle for Porto's Brazilian attacking midfield player Anderson and Sporting Lisbon's flying winger Nani.
Ferguson made a concerted effort to take Hargreaves to Old Trafford after the World Cup, in which the midfield player turned out to be one of England's few success stories.
Hargreaves left no one in any doubt that he wanted to make the move, only for Bayern to block the deal as it feared supporter unrest after losing Michael Ballack to Chelsea.
Ferguson hoped to resurrect the deal in January, but those plans were scuppered when Hargreaves - who has family which hails from Bolton - broke a leg on club duty against Arminia Bielefeld in September.
However, there was little doubt the United boss was determined to push the transfer through once the season was over, and Bayern's failure to qualify for next year's Champions League made it more certain that Hargreaves would move to Old Trafford.
No fee has been mentioned, but it is thought to be around €25 million ($40 million).
I'm also excited about the youngster NANI and ANDERSON who both just signed with man utd
Sporting Lisbon chairman Soares Franco has revealed that the club could not stop Manchester United from signing Portugal international Nani.
The 20-year-old winger has joined Porto's Brazilian midfielder Anderson, 19, in a deal that could cost in the region of £30million (AUS$71.81million) to the Premiership champions.
According to Sporting supremo Franco, nothing could have been done to prevent the sale negotiated in Portugal by United chief executive David Gill and Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant Carlos Queiroz.
The English giants forked out enough cash to trigger the clause in Nani's contract.
"Manchester United contacted us and said that they wanted to activate the clause - they wanted the player anyway," Franco told a press conference in Lisbon.
"Club (Sporting Lisbon) had the obligation to release the player and deal with Manchester United."
"He (Nani) had another two years on his contract with a 20 million euros (AUS$32.47million) release clause. From the end of next season he would have cost half of that price."
"Nani has never been for sale. This is an agreement I have made with club supporters when I took charge."
"But there is a difference between our intention of no sale and the international market circumstances. Manchester United acted on the release clause."
"I felt he wanted to go. Nobody liked to see Nani leaving."
Like United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani arrives from Sporting, a club with a history of producing young talent, and possesses pace and skill similar to that of his countryman.
Franco has always tried to protect his young players from the envious eyes of Europe's top clubs and has vowed not to carry on selling.
"No more players are for sale. We have a dream, which is to create a competitive European team," added Franco, who last has tempted another growing Sporting star, Joao Moutinho, to pen a six-year deal in a bid to secure the homegrown talent.
Nani and Anderson will join England international Owen Hargreaves at Old Trafford after the club confirmed the Bayern Munich midfielder will join them on July 1 in a £17million (AUS$40.61million) deal.
