It was not a header this time, as far as the reports go - he got his foot on the ball some 10m from the goal and hammered it in. I wouldn't want to overestimate that, though - Erlangen Bruck are playing...whatever. I don't even know what division they're playing in but it's on the amateur level.
Meanwhile, Joshua Kennedy, that other Australian we signed from Dresden, who you probably know at least by name, injured his Achilles tendon in today's session and most likely will be out for the rest of the year...

Yeah, I know, and I liked him at the World Cup. There was no brutal force or anything involved in his injury, it just snapped, and now he's out,

That's a terrible injury wouldn't want to rush him back into the side.
Maybe an amatuer side but he didn't score against Wyoming...

Lawrie was putting Megsy in a position to score towards the end of the season. He has also had the potential.
Even playing as a back he was given the opportunity to use his boot to score.
Megsy we miss u.

Big article about Michael today in the biggest of Nuremberg's newspapers. With a photo of those lazy Aussies ;D  I will try to translate the article later on. Both may have good chances to play in the first eleven soon. Especially Michael. Yesterday they were too in bavarian television. Filmed while going up onto a glacier. Nice report. They are unhappy that they don't understand the jokes of the coach... yet  But at least they already understand when they made something wrong. However our coach is known for direct and loud criticism, but also for great motivation skills. Both said they like the training and their new coach although it is much harder for them |

Unfortunately the name has actually changed from Mister + Lady Jeans to simply Mister Lady. The marketing department of our sponsor needs a new challenge I think  However yesterday there was a big fest one week before the season starts. Part of it was a match against PSV Eindhoven which we won 3:0. 30.000 people where there. Afterwards there was a big autographing (?) session:  No picture of Dean unfortunately. |
