is he worth more than stevie g? lampard? rooney? henry? what a joke - all the other chelsea players will want their contracts upgraded no doubt as well.
i also read today that they are also after roberto carlos. it's good for them while it lasts but the money being thrown away is not sustainable. lot's of people aren't renewing season tickets because of the high cost. remember roman's hobby is not football it's making money. he's got to be looking at making some money out of the club somehow - flogging the ground would be a start.
