[glow=red,2,300]A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE ABOUT THE WHOLE MATCH FIXING SCANDAL IN ITALIAN DOMESTIC LEAGUE:[/glow] Juve have been relegated to Serie B and will start next season with a 30-point deficit, as well as being stripped of the league titles they won in the past two seasons. Fiorentina and Lazio were also relegated and will start the campaign with 12 and seven-point deficits respectively, while AC Milan retain their Serie A status but will start next season with a 15-point disadvantage. Milan have also been docked 44 points from their tally last season. Both juve and milan will not be in Europe this year. Pretty hectic hey. looks like after years of serie a being the number one league the primera liga will take over, especially if many of those serie a players go to spain

that could well happen i reckon do you think someone like gigi Buffon would stick around? best keeper in the world bottom of serie B. Not likely. as well as: ~Cannavaro ~Nedved ~Vieira ~Trezeguet ~Thuram ~Zambrotta ~Emerson ~Ibrahimovic just to name a few

ac and juve have pretty much handed this year serie A to inter or roma and i'll be watching very closely to see how juve go in gaining promotion back. i reckon they'll struggle giving the comp a 30 point headstart and they have no chance of keeping their stars. i've heard they want to loan out their stars till they gain back promotion which i dont reckon any of the players will want to do. its going to be real tough times for them and i hope vieria comes back to arsenal

The clubs relegated may well find themselves swamped with Player's Agents reminding the club about relegation 'get out' clauses that some players may have in their contracts.

If i understand correctly, juv are in serie b with -30 points starting positon!
You would have to ask whether they would get promoted at the end of next season from that starting position. especially if players move on.

i reckon they could get to mid table first seasson, and win second season, then people might start coming back and they will be a powerhouse again.

they will only get to mid-table if the big names stay. Del piero is apparently staying but i cant see many others wanting to. 30 points is huge and if they lose too many players then Serie C is waiting.

hahaha great! i dont like the italian league so it doesnt bother me a bit. Will be good to see some of those good players move a round a bit. Chelsea will probably pick off the more expensive ones...

Starting minus 30 behind and having what looks like a majority of their squad depart would kill most clubs.Juventus isnt a normal club though but considering the 4 clubs to get relegated from Serie B finished on 28,30,39 and 46points respectively would mean they would need to win 20+ games just to avoid relegation and considering the champions won only 24 they will have their work cut out and they are a tainted club now so luring stars while they are stuck in the second tier will not be easyicult

I bet Viera is glad he left Arsenal now lol
Juve are f***ed! They will lose their players and they will (as fish said) really struggle to avoid relegation again next year!

What's below Serie B then! (Serie B2 ;D perhaps?) Good grief that would be a hard pill for their fans to swallow.

I've always been a JUVE fan and I'm ready to support the Serie B..... Juve players have done nothing wrong and the punishment is unjust!

I've always been a JUVE fan and I'm ready to support the Serie B..... Juve players have done nothing wrong and the punishment is unjust! pfft... whatever. juve's fair weather fans (i.e. all of them, it seems) will disappear off into the ether and la signora can cop it sweet. juve fans have lorded their 'success' over the rest of italy for so long, and when it turns out that much of the success is bought they should get it between the eyes. thankfully, the governing body has shown some real guts and done just that. juve fans should turn their anger to their administration and demand that heads roll rather than bitching about the punishment. as for the players, i'm sure they (like giovanni trappatoni) will find other homes and they won't mind a bit.
