Well so far the A-League has had what, 3 red cards? Including two straights? Qu's headbutt was the least 'fair' thing since the world cup final...
I wonder if any stats will come out as to the average number of bookings around the world this weekend? Do people think it's a worthwhile endeavour or a croc of shit?
Someone should email FIFA and tell them not to put the Fair Play weekend on an East Coast Derby.

well when the ref cant tell that slashing at someone's leg will result in the player being chopped down but instead gives the guy a red for a dive.. pfft.
okon's red was always going to be a matter of timing and speed.. i think it was a substitute who okon got.
i agree about fair play weekend.. Qu's headbutt was disgraceful

Okon knew he was gone, professional foul etc etc.
At best, Griffiths exagerated his fall after pushing the ball past the last man and getting fouled

Croc of shit.
The Old Firm Derby was on 'FIFA Fair Play Week' as well, just to prove how stupid a concept it is.

It's a FIFA initiative so I don't think the East Coast derby would be in their minds when scheduling a fair play week.
On any given weekend there will obviously be at least one derby going on somewhere in the world.

Was anything mentioned at the grand finals at pluim about 'fair play weekend'?
I agree that the message didn't appear to be encouraged by the players too much!
