Mourinho on losing to Tottenham ;D
Blues boss Jose Mourinho was furious with referee Graham Poll's decision to disallow a Didier Drogba goal.
He said: "The Drogba goal, only Poll can explain. It would have been 2-0."
Mourinho also disagreed with the decision to send off John Terry and felt Hossam Ghaly should have been dismissed for appearing to lead with his arm in a challenge on Michael Essien.
"I feel sorry for my players and the supporters but at the same time I can say to Tottenham's people to carry on with their celebrations as this is a big moment for them," added Mourinho.
"We don't deserve this result. For a long time we were the best team but Tottenham fought hard.
To show a red card to Terry for contact in the box when he was attacking was ridiculous
"It was such an emotional game of football with good quality. I don't understand why Mr Poll wants to be part of the show. The show is Chelsea and Tottenham players.
"To show a red card to Terry for contact in the box when he was attacking was ridiculous and Ghaly should also have been given a red card.
"Instead of managers speaking against referees, I don't know why they don't speak here and have a press conference after the game instead of managers."

I will pass up the opportunity to post what the EUFA president had to say yesterday about the russian mafia stealing money from children and buying footballers.
Sorry to any Spurs fans but you havent been a big club since 1961. You wont ever break up the big 3/4 (Spartak,Arsenal,Manure and Liverpool). We beat Chelsea last season but it didnt make us a threat to their title. Your just a more effective Newcastle Utd.
At least we know our place (bobbing up and down in 12th usually)

Good post. Have to agree with you. Having been a life long Spurs fan, the Chelsea hatred started in the 70's and has been going on and on sice then, and I am sure most of us won't know why. If you look at every game Chelsea have lost, Jose always tries to blame some one else other then his team.

I think the hatred stems back to a v nasty punch up at WHL in the 70's (77??)

heres another one to make fergurson chomp a bit.
after the bolton game last weekend
The Chelsea manager insisted it is only a matter of time before his champions depose United at the top after a win that keeps them three points adrift of their main rivals in what is now a two-horse title race.
Mourinho admits he is unused to occupying second spot following a two-year domination of English football's top flight.
But the Portuguese is convinced his side will soon reclaim their 'rightful' place at the head of affairs following a valuable four-point haul from tough back-to-back trips to Old Trafford and the Reebok Stadium.
Mourinho said: "We've come through two very difficult matches with positive results and I don't think it'll take us long to be back on top of the league.
"We fought for every ball. I have a team of fighters and we fought like heroes to win deservedly. I don't remember Bolton really getting into our box, the win was more than justice for us."
United travel to Stamford Bridge in April for a match which is already being billed as a title decider, and Mourinho added: "If you told me that when we play at home against them again the difference will be three points, I wouldn't be too unhappy. It would mean it was in our hands."
The Chelsea manager believes his side have had a tougher schedule to start the season than their Old Trafford rivals, who he claims will be frustrated at not opening a more handsome lead as a result.
He added: "We'd like to be top, we've got used to it in the last two years. I'm happy to be three points behind when I look at the fixtures we've had and those United have had so far. Now it's time to win matches consecutively and go top of the league.
"It's our time to turn things around. I always like to be in first place, but I'm happy in the current situation.
"United are a good team and their ambition is to stay at the top. But I think we showed our power in the second-half when we played them and with the very good run they're having they have to be frustrated with a three point lead because we're also doing well."
