it was voted on by the Fédération Internationale des Associations de Footballers (FIFPro), so maybe they know better than you striker?
besides, he's not bad at all, hasn't been in sparkling form of late but still probably has more talent in his little toe than the combined talents of every person i've ever shared a field with in 17 years...

across the whole year, ronaldinho has been spectacular. he's torn team after team apart and been frankly amazing more often than not.
even at the world cup finals and the champions league final when he 'disappointed', this was contextualised against a year when he left so many players wondering who they just got owned by they could fill a stadium by themselves.
and while you bag 'fancy brazilian stuff' striker, i note that the little R (big R being the pie muncher of madrid) keeps his feet under all but the nastiest of tackles, unlike your beloved pirlo who falls under the faintest zephyr.

Who is this man and what has he done with the laws of the universe?? watching sbs on sunday and tony palumbo said, tongue in cheek, that the goal was not so great because he his mis-controlled the chest trap pissed myself laughing because he did, but then inexplicably came out with that shot saw it about ten times and still don't know how he did it
