no surprise to me. He will be on about US$1m a week probably. He's not good enough for madrid anymore anyway.

Still can cut it at Real IMHO, if not plenty of other options in Europe or elsehwere.

He spends to much time on other stuff and little time on his game, he's not all that he once was.... Plus he's been trying to make it in the US for years
