ok , here are some major transfers from the epl that have gone on over the last month. as we know - midnight tonight is the last of deals to happen for this window. Edgar Davids [Tottenham-Ajax] Undisclosed Greg Halford [Colchester - Reading] Undisclosed Massimo Maccarone [Middlesbrough - Siena] Free Oguchi Onyewu [Standard Liege - Newcastle] Loan Oliver Bozanic [unattached - Reading] Alexi Smertin [Dynamo Moscow - Fulham] Undisclosed Ugo Ehiogu [Middlesbrough - Rangers] Free Jordy Brouwer [Ajax - Liverpool] Undisclosed Simon Davies [Everton - Fulham] Undisclosed Ahmed Fathi [Ismaily - Sheffield United] £700,000 Claudio Reyna [Manchester City - New York Red Bulls] Free Ricardo Rocha [Benfica - Tottenham] Undisclosed Ashley Young [Watford - Aston Villa] £9.65m Milan Baros [Aston Villa - Lyon] Undisclosed Kepa Blanco [Sevilla - West Ham] Loan John Carew [Lyon - Aston Villa] Undisclosed Lucas Neill [Blackburn - West Ham] Undisclosed Stephen Warnock [Liverpool - Blackburn] Undisclosed Giuseppe Rossi [Man Utd - Parma] Loan David Dunn [Birmingham - Blackburn] Undisclosed Daniele Padelli [Sampdoria - Liverpool] Loan Anthony Stokes [Arsenal - Sunderland] £2m Luis Boa Morte [Fulham - West Ham] Undisclosed Vincenzo Montella [Roma - Fulham] Loan Ben Alnwick [Sunderland - Tottenham] £900,000 so, there are a few for now, but as midnight approaches wait to see more from the epl. as yet arsenal and manu have been non existent in buying players at present. chelsea might go for halb from bolton to bolster backline. manu loaned a few youngsters to roy keane's sunderland and also he was able to capture stokes from arsenal who was playing in spl and banged in around 12 goals in 14 games. celtic were also after this kid. tottenham have spent a bit of cash and everyone knows westham is buying a new team - haha so if you know of any more post them up.

Mathew Upson from Birmingham to West Ham for $6million pounds, going up to $7.5million depending on appearances. Not massive, but not a bad signing I guess.

Liverpool have completed the signings of Deportivo La Coruna defender Alvaro Arbeloa and Malaga midfielder Francisco Manuel Duran.
Hopefully Alvaro isn't as useless as that other great Spanish right back Josemi...

Agreed Arsenal Birmingham City 22 Jan 03 £3,000,000 Birmingham City West Ham United 31 Jan 07 £6,000,000 Doesn't seem worth the extra £3,000,000...

Don't act like the 'pool have never made a bad signing! I agree buying the entire sengal first team after Korea and Japan was a mistake... Josemi bad news ... But SHITshenko was actually a great player (cant take a penalty to win a champions league mind you) but decent all the same.

But SHITshenko was actually a great player (cant take a penalty to win a champions league mind you) but decent all the same. He was good, but I think he's too old to make a move to the EPL. It takes time to become adjusted to the league(Drogba for example). By the time he is fully adjusted to the league he'll be like 32 or 33. A younger option was the better idea, such as David Villa or Torres. Hoever he and Roman are f*ckbuddies and the move had apparently been 2 years in the making.

Lusi Boa Morte only highlight in his career came when he was compared to look like Ian Wright when he played for the Arsenal, then he played for Southampton and where are they now? Fulham have never really done anything apart from make up the numbers so I dont think he will help.... Upson couldnt even keep Birmingham up...... SO I think the old biscuit tycoon is going to have to sell some more Iced Vovos to keep this team afloat..... They will be blowing bubbles in the championship next year....

yeah i agree (except the man u part) im glad he hasnt gone to a big team too early. cant be good for these young guys to go to big teams and hardly play (walcott at arsenal is a good example, he would have played a lot more games at southampton if he had of stayed a bit longer)
