Emmanuel Adebayor has been given an additional one-match ban by The Football Association.
The striker was hit with an initial three-match suspension after being sent off during the Carling Cup final against Chelsea on 25th February.
Adebayor had denied a charge of reacting aggressively and failing to leave the field of play immediately, and requested a personal hearing.
His hearing took place on Friday and the FA Disciplinary Commission opted to hand down an extra suspension and also fined him £7,500.
A statement on The FA's website read: "In sentencing, the Commission stated that it had taken into account Adebayor's playing record and the mitigation offered.
"Adebayor is currently serving a three-match suspension following his sending off during the match, this additional suspension will come into effect after those three games have been completed."
The FA has also confirmed that Arsenal have admitted a charge of failing to control their players and/or officials, also relating to the Carling Cup final.
The news on Adebayor will come as a blow to manager Arsene Wenger as it was confirmed on Friday that Thierry Henry will not play again this season.
I think this is the last bit of action that the FA will take following the final, even though there was a small rumour that both Essien and the Drog were facing bans.
