GOOOONEEEEE
Mourinho 'quits Chelsea' From correspondents in London, England September 20, 2007 CHELSEA manager Jose Mourinho has left the English Premier League club, according to the BBC and other British media reports.
Sky Sports News quoted an unnamed senior player as confirming the Portuguese manager had sent text messages to members of his squad informing them of his decision to leave.
If confirmed, Mourinho's departure will send shockwaves through English football.
The manager has transformed the nation's football landscape since taking over at Stamford Bridge in June 2004, winning two Premier League titles in his first two years in charge and the FA Cup last season.
But his relationship with Chelsea's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich has always been fraught and it now seems that a disappointing 1-1 Champions League draw with Norwegian side Rosenberg on Tuesday was his last in charge.
There has been no official word so far from the Premier League club.

Maybe Mourinho is going to coach Sydney It'll end within a season because Lowy orders zdrillic to be resigned for 1/4 of SFC budget and Mourinho leaves in disgust after drawing 0 all with Perth.

This is TRUE. SMH online has a 12.40pm report today indicating Jose had had ANOTHER argument with Roman, and the Mourinho era at Stamford Bridge is OVER.
OMIGOD!! Just what Man Utd need this Sunday, a team trying to impress a new manager.
Well, well, does this open the door for Guus??

Dave, don't worry - we'd have thumped them with or without Moron-inho...... besides, I read that the people to take over are the assistants/head trainers, and I'm pretty sure that most of the players have impressed them as is. Besides, no Drogba or Lampard for Sunday anyway. We'll take those 3 points thanks.

Jesse Fink's blog over at FoxSports has interesting perspectives on this in terms of a replacement and Hiddink.
Seems that Roman would have wanted Hiddink in AFTER qualifying Russia into Euro, but Jose wanted to make things hard for him and stepped out early.
They could look at Graham Arnold to keep the seat warm for Hiddink in a few months...

Rumours (BenW's blog, amongst other places) about Mr. Culina being replaced by one Mr. Arnold at Hakoah..... sorry, Sydney FC.
Now wouldn't that be a laugh and a half??

Does it really come at that much of a surprise that he didn't see out his contract? It really is frustrating that he left at this time. A couple of games into the season, days before a trip to Old Trafford, great timing Jose!
However I think there will be many positives to come out of this. A new coach, more attacking style of play (hopefully), and maybe Roman will open his check book back up.
But f*ck me, Sunday's game just got harder. In Steve Clark and Avram Grant, we trust!

My source is the world game.

i have thought of a couple of theories Fabio Capello is free man from Real Madrid and talking about attacking football we should get Frank Rijkard he has barca scoring 3 goals per game on average in the champions leagueand he buried another three against Lyon today who have won the french ligue 1, 7 times in a row
