Fox Sports are reporting that McLaren has been sacked (1.00pm News). Oh, dear. Oh dear my arse! f*** right off McClaren and go back to being assistant coach at United which is the only thing you've ever done well! |

Yes, you mentioned that to me recently, DJ.
It will be very interesting whom the FA chooses as the next England Gaffer. WIll they get a Dutchman, a Froggie (gasp, I just don't think they'd deal with a Frog as gaffer), or a South American?
Tossing some names out there: Jose (man, wouldn't he rock the boat?), Gerard H, Arsene, Guus (after a buyout of his Russkie deal), Luis Felipe Scolari? Any others?

I can't laugh at England. We all know what it's like to get so close to qualifying for a major tournament so it's unfortunate for all who were supporting England this morning. Sorry lads

Disappointing defeat, but I'm fairly sure I've now got all my anger out of my system. Macca had to go. Simple as.
He shouldn't have dropped Carson, he shouldn't have gone 4-5-1, he shouldn't have played Sol Campbell and Lescott together, he shouldn't have played Wayne Bridge, he shouldn't have played Gerrard and Lampard together, he shouldn't have played Joe Cole, and he SHOULD have played players who can cross the damn ball.
But still, at least it means we can play the Home Nations again next season... Its been years =D

I think that it is not good that England hasn't qualified for the EURO next year.
An EURO with Germany but without its favourite "enemy"/oppponent but with Turkey (which I personally don't count to Europe) and Russia - I don't like this idea.
For the EURO itself and for the atmosphere in Austria and Switzerland it would have been better if England had qualified - and of course it would have been better for all the pub owners and their beer turnover.

That is why I wrote that I don't like the idea that they are playing at the EURO. Everytime Turkey wins the streets are that crowded by Turkish people that you cant't even drive on these streets.... |
