Seeing as we have to wait for news of this afternoon's humiliation of Man-U-re by our lads, and I have to sit here at the PC writing a newsletter instead of out watching football, and having flushed out the Celtic supporters:
Other than the Mariners - What other football clubs do have, or have had, your allegiance? Other sports teams?
Football: Gladesville-Ryde United AFC (RIP) - c. 1956 to 1964 Newcastle Breakers FC (RIP) - c. 1995 to 2000 Northern Spirit FC (RIP also - a dangerous fan to have eh!?) Ryde City Gunners - my local NSW Div 1 team (and they are gold and blue) Bathurst 75 - my son's current club - in NSW Div 1 too - tricky when they both meet! Central Coast United FC - NSW PL [Soft spot for Wollongong Wolves - NSWPL (daughter lives there), also - Queensland Sting (WNSL), Epping Eastwood Tigers & Epping YMCA (my kids old teams). Have interest in Illawarra PL - but no team] Soft spot for Oldham Athletic in UK - my Dad born there! As I am a walking minority - No EPL, SPL, Italian, Spanish or any other overseas team, so there! Socceroos and other Oz national teams
Other sports: Not interested in the two Rugbys (esp. Thugby League) - but do like to see Cornwall Rugby (Trelawney's Army) win the county championship in UK (ethnic loyalty - makes up for not having our own national teams, yet!) Not a Rules follower as such but I can watch, and have soft spot for Sturt in SAFL (my SA family's team). Can be talked into watching European Handball Have played and watched Cricket I was a high jumper - enjoy watching that

Football: Northern Spirit Central Coast United Leeds United Glasgow Rangers The Central Coast Mariners Stretcher Bearers - GO US! Footyroos etc. (Kind of Marconi U/20s - have a friend that plays for them - I like to hear how they go but I wouldn't call myself a supporter)
Other Sports: I am a long distance runner (marathon distance and beyond) but I don't watch it so much I referee Rugby Union and am a Waratahs nut. Death to the NRL North Sydney Bears (1908 - 2000 RIP) Central Coast Grammar School 1st XV (Rugby Union) Gordon (NSW Premier League Rugby Union) Central Coast Rugby Association (NSW Pre-Season Rugby from 2006) NSW Blues (Cricket) Adelaide Crows (AFL) Sturt (SANFL) University of Western Sydney David Criniti (Runner - Machine look him up) Ironman Triathlons Coast 2 Kosci (246km foot race from Sea Level - Eden - to the top of Mount Kosciousco) I'll pretty much watch anything else

In the words of Roy & HG "To much sport,is never enough"
Can be very hard trying to balance the schedules and working out which one to go to, when you have the inevitable season over laps As for the OS sports, Ahh the joys of online streaming on dial up ~sigh~

Leeds - just a small town in Yorkshire! I suspect their Aussie support will really dwindle if they don't get back this season. I usually don't have much time for Leeds, but they did beat those Millwall scum at the weekend!!!! ;D

Better than being a small town near Preston.
Their Aussie support dwindled the day they got relegated, I'm sure alot support Middlesbrough, Everton or Liverpool now. I picked my EPL team and I'll stick with them, even if they're not there anymore
