Can't expect Haddin to come to grip with test cricket straight away? What about MJ Clarke & AJ Strauss, it happens alot more regularly, I'm saying they should blood him as a batsman first, he's arguably one of the best batsman in the country anyway (infact a better keeper than Gillie).

Everyone is getting their knickers in a knot over a couple of pretend games. Cricket is played with a red ball. Aussies 3 - 0, 2 games washed out ;D

those results are kharma for symonds being dropped hung-over at a ashes tour pleeeeeeease... imagine if we would have dropped dougie walters, marshy, boonie and the like for being drunk or hung-over at a ashes game they wouldn't have played a single match! kharma will now be rectified now that symonds will be allowed back in the team and so kharma was rectified symonds had a blinder and this is just reward for being punished so severely

I am wishing that the return of Kewell, Bresciano, Grella and a fully fit Viduka will have the same impact in the footyroos as Symonds and Lee had to Australia.

Ahh reality.Just when they thought there time had come BOOM hopes dashed just like every tour.I hope the Aussies hammer them in the tests and clean sweep it so they can think about it for another few years what might have been.

Omni I did say that Australia was the best team in the world didn't I? By the sounds of it your proud that Australia lost to Bangladesh? Plus I'll say it now, I fully expect Australia to retain the Ashes, however fingers crossed it will be the most competitive ashes for a number of years! If you wanna count the 20-20 game England actually won 2 games by the way! Fish - expect a tighter series than what your dreaming of too! (Knowing the English weather there is bound to be a wash out or 2....lol)

All this talk of 'its good for the game' and 'its bad if one team is always winning' is totally off the mark for Australia. We're already past our invincible phase, and in a few years we will be struggling. We have to celebrate every win we can still get. We're not a top club side that can use it's success to buy more success. And our time at the top is nearly over.

Fish the English press are arseholes I agree, if England has a bad game in footy, cricket or whatever they do nothing but slag them off! When they do well in something they build them up too much as if they think their shit don't stink, and put too much pressure on them.

Right WT - It's not Australia's responsibility to throw matches 'for the good of the game'
Still think it's a distant thing, England are 2 and I can't see them beating us. India, maybe.
