Well what a game of cricket that was, it had everything! Best game I have watched for a very long time! 1-1 with 3 to play!

Fantastic Test - I still think the 90 minutes I saw at Lord's last time was great - but that was because I was sitting there stoked that I was in Lord's!
England can't afford any draws 1-1 3 to play and they need to WIN the series. Come on boys let's do an India!
One GD McGrath will comeback and smack a century in the not too distant future!

It wasn't the bowling or the lack of McGrath that lost us that game - it was the batting.
Not enough partnerships and too many starts with no decent scores.
Looks like bingers will be out for the third test.
Tait might get his debut.

Your biased views just make you seem ignorant man, Bing was our best behind warne for the whole test, england would still be batting through their second innings if it wasn't for him and his work at the crease was legendary stuff that will be talked of forever. mcgrath woudlnt have even got the chance to show such courage unfer fire with his middle stump was on the ground after one or two bouncers.

At least he isn't a chucker, admitedly though, Brett Lee has surprised me this series I didn't think he'd be able to do what he's done, and I didn't think he'd be able to peg back his SR for test cricket batting, not entirely convinced yet, his batting may be enough for him to make my XI though. do you have a split personality omni? you made two totally contradictory comments in he space of five minutes!

It was nice to see 2 aussie bowlers get centurys in the first innings, warne and lee! I heard on the radio today that Lee could be out the third test, I suspect they may play 2 spinners on that wicket anyway.

Some suggestions Shane Watson could be brought in as an all-round option .. and play two spinners .. at the expense of either Katich or Kasprowicz (although I'd get rid of Gillespie first)

I would go for two spinners even with Bing fit and leave Kaspa to carry the drinks. Tough call but necessary.

Not let Australia down? Did you see the SCG test last year?

Not let Australia down? Did you see the SCG test last year? No, I was away from Sydney and tv at the time and I don't remember reading about it. Or that could just be my short term memory playing up again. I also have difficulties remembering the last Mariners game played at the Central Coast. Funny I can remember the Newcastle and Adelaide games quite clearly. But apart from the SCG test which I don't remember..... .

By the way Omni how is your general knowledge. For a schooner equivalent; Who was the English captain who came from Yorkshire, toured Australia but did not play in a test?
