Thank you Mr Warne for handing the Ashes to England! A bit more catching practise and maybe Pieterson would have been out! And how exactly did he cheat? If the poms fail just call on 2 South Africans to get your runs in the final test

If McGrath had been fit for 5 tests we would have won the series. There's no doubt this Aussie team is still the best XI in the world at the MOMENT, but it IS fading. This series was great, but two things I think took away from it's greatness. 1) There was no build up: Everyone expected an Aussie win. This fact will be a lot different next time around, everyone will be looking forward to the next series. 2) The match up: It was a team of legends sliding down from it's peak, against a team approaching it's best. Not exactly 'romantic' stuff.
Again, the next series should be a cracker. Maybe our team will be a bunch of young goers by then, and Flintoff will get injured for two tests and it'll rain and be too dark in the others so we can have a 'great victory'. I thought it was sad when the commentators were comparing their team to the Invincibles etc. Must feel that good to be an englishman right now.

"If McGrath had been fit for 5 tests we would have won the series" He's old and can't handle it as are mos tof the Australian team. the need to blood younger players quickly.

No excuses it was a thrilling series and congratulations to England (Said something similar to a POME in the rocks today response: 'Damn Aussies why do you have to take this defeat so well, get angry!') I will something slightly anti-England Odds for the next series: $1.60 Australia $4.30 England DO WE GET THE REAL ONES NOW? ?? That's how it works isn't it? Loosers get the real Ashes.
