When I see Omni's name on the forum it reminds me of champagne! ........... I don't even drink that brand. yep..it's not a drinkable variety........... p.s. can't use the term "champagne" for sparkling wines outside that reagion. I refuse to acknowledge that ridiculous attempt at stifling international competition. I agree, Omni is not very nice but more drinkable than an aforementioned EU0.76 bottle of 'champagne' we bought in France. It smelled like mixing epoxy resin and had a gummy feel in the mouth. We still drank it cos we're troopers.

the trick is to buy a really good barnd for your first bottle....and then downgrade as you get slightly affected by the bubbles!

He's not named after the sparkling wine, then? he doesn't drik, smoke or fool around with naughty women! naughty women striker?? i don't think down grading to cheaper bottles is a good idea. especially when your out and you've had a few drinks and your a little merry. well, if someone goes and buys a cheap & crappy drink, your already half smashed and don't really notice the difference.

I don't even drink that brand. hey, i don't ALWAYS want champagne. sometimes its vodka. speaking of which, i'll have a vodka, redbull & champagne (from the region!!) in a tall glass please. ;D ;D

Well I've never felt so much hatred Striker: I thought that only applied (sp?) in the EU and as such Australia still called it champagne.

Well I've never felt so much hatred Striker: I thought that only applied (sp?) in the EU and as such Australia still called it champagne. Oh no! We were talking about the 'sparkling fermented beverage' called Omni as being cheap and rarely drinkable. I'm sure you're very lovely and not cheap at all, as Striker has testified by mentioning your avoidance of 'naughty women.'
