You should check them out on www.soundslikesunset.comAlso check threads below where people have listed their top ten songs and movies. Interesting reading. Aussie rock man myself and like stuff like oils, hunters, gurus, the saints, and especially nick cave also huge jeff buckley fan getting into some good dance like jamiroquai and gorillaz

is anyone going to any concerts coming up? I have tickets for Joe Cocker, John forgarty and Tony Joe White.... I had to make a decision whether to go to the Aussie v uruguay game or Tony Joe White ... I figured I'll probably never see Tony Joe White again and there'll be plenty of time Australia will loose against Uruguay! haha

O'seas; Yardbirds, Led Zeplin, Cream, Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Small Faces, Steppenwolf, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Procol Harum, Deep Purple, U2, Tull, Hawkwind, Hendrix, Animals, Yes, JJ Cahil, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, The Band, Canned Heat, The Doors Aussie; Thorpie with all his bands, ACDC with Bonn Scott, Easybeats, Masters Apprentices, Zoot, Doug Parkinson, Tammin Shud, I think if you go through that list you will understand my deafness, brain damage and inability to remember Modern; Jet, Regurgitator, White Stripes, Jack of Jill, Void, Marinators and many others that Ursus minor plays for me but can't remember their names. Techno; Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream Symphonic; Shostakovich, Mahler, Ravel, Stravinskey, Brahms, anything from late romantic into modern. Is that enough? Like pjimmy I love it all and could go on foreever. Concerts, SSO this Friday. Have tickets for Oasis, may let them go. Will probably go to Joe Cocker.

um...i will try and put it into genres. these are all bands/artists i love and own a cd/vinyl of most of them.
classics first. led zeppelin, floyd (favourite band), chicago, YES, the doors, the who, jethro tull, the cars, the clash, Hendrix, the cure, van morrison, genesis, hawkwind, black sabbath, little feat, Bowie, Chris isaak, velvet underground, joy division, iggy pop and the stooges,... im sure i left out tonnes.
more contemporary - At the drive in, the mars volta, interpol, queens of the stone age, flaming lips, wolfmother, RADIOHEAD, bloc party, arcade fire, the black keys, TOOL, the shins, the white stripes, Fantomas, Mclusky, SIGUR ROS, the music, the hives, Gorillaz, Death from above 1969, sarah blasko, 78 Saab, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, Mogwai, Muse, Supergrass, Sunny Day Real Estate, Dandy Warhols, Greenday .... much more im sure.
dance/techno etc- Gorillaz, Daft Punk, underworld, chemical brothers, New Order, Mylo...much more too.
