Warning - possible bomb threat

An email has gone around government bodies that the government is aware of as possible bomb threat 5pm today at Town Hall Station.

Apologies if this is not true but I have received this from a friend at the Department of Sport and Recreation.

We have been informed that a threat has been made for a bomb to go off at Town Hall Station at 5.00pm today.



NSW Police are aware of the threat, and whilst conducting searches, we understand police do not regard the threat as credible.



However, should your travel arrangements involve passing through Town Hall Station, you should consider alternative routes. If you need to leave work slightly earlier today to make alternatives plans, please inform your department head.

well, a threat has been made becuase this has gone through all the government departments and was serious enough for the head of sport and rec to send it to staff

Town Hall terror emails 'a hoax'

NSW police has this afternoon warned that emails flooding the city about a terror threat at Town Hall are a hoax.

The emails, which have been circulating since Prime Minister John Howard warned of an imminent terror attack to Australia yesterday, warn of a terror attack at Town Hall at 5pm.

The emails advise Sydneysiders to leave work early to avoid being at Town Hall station at rush-hour this afternoon.

NSW Police have informed The Daily Telegraph that there is no credibility to this threat but they are currently investigating.

Transport in the area is likely to be affected.

I Phoned City Rail, They said there was a threat made but it was a hoax, they would be putting on extra security (If that Helps) and all trains are still running on time (ON Time LOL City rail you can't use that in the same sentence)

Any ways i came to the conclusion if i'm gunna get blown up i shouldn't feel a thing.
