1000000's of years ago, my ancestors came mysteriously crawling up out of the pacific ocean in the form of fetuses. Through some 'true blue hard yakka' they developed their forms into adult humanoids and started a small secret race, which survived the invasion of the aboriginals AND the europeans. Now I just fit into Australian society like one of the rest. I'm so Australian it's unbelievable. That explains a great deal WT!

All my imigrant ancestors were at least four generations ago. All from England (although I've only seen the one line's history for it's locality of origin: Bottisham), except ONE, from China (I think in the goldrush). Funnily enough the oldest ancestors in this line that I knew (great-grandmother, grandfather) seemed to keep it a secret (? source of shame at the time, like having convict ancestors USED to be!)
The vote was GB.

Although I suppose I was potentially nearly a (sort of) pom.
Parents went to England for a couple of years in their 20's (to work and see the world), meeting on the ship on the way there, getting married in London (in the absence of any family), and returning with foetus enclosed (me).
Legend has it that my Dad (living in Manchester) caught a MU football special (cheap!) to London to propose and had to find out the score before the return journey to predict the mood of the fans.
Don't think he was a big sports fan - funny, when his brother got a Olympic medal in '52 (rowing) and later on, his niece was also an Olympian (basketball).

Bloody hell- if they'd stayed in England to have you, you'd be eligible to play for England and have a British passport! You were conceived on this magnificent island so you can be an honourary pom if you like!
