And tonight my daughter gets a call from a friend with a "spare" ticket.........would she give it to her aged father? No. Does he have to rearrange his workday to get her there and back? Oh yes. Will she scab the money for merch? More than likely.
They dont tell you this at Pre natal classes....bastards

Hahaha, poor ol Greenpole, Don't give her any money for Merch, the ticket should be enough of a souvenir, I however will be buying a shirt Something I haven't done for a while (and I now really wish I had a Switchfoot shirt).

The powderfinger shirt I got is a nice shirt, but I love The Whitlams Eternal Nightcap tour shirt, it has over 150 dates on the back of it.

Yellow Cake: I'm certain I will not bother with Kanye West, is that the only support? If there is only him I'd aim to get in half way through his set, I've got reserved seats so it doesn't matter.

Kanye West is all.
I've seen 2 different versions of U2 on stage time - 8:30 and 9:00.
Even though we've got GA, plenty of movement happens except point-blank close so I'm thinking 5:50 from Gosford, Strathfield just before 7 then about 15 to OP.
What are you thinking Chris? (Posted to invite any company)

nope, i'm still not sure if we will be driving up or whatnot. I dont have any concert shirts, i guess its becuase i havent actually been to any concerts, so a U2 one would be tops. Dont want to see Kanye, I cant stand him.. Gold digger is an utterly irritating song. Sunday Bloody Sunday and Beautiful Day.. two of the best U2 songs in my opinion.

Most of you U2 fans would know that the single for Sunday, Bloody Sunday has the words "This song is NOT a rebel song, this song is Sunday Bloody Sunday".
At a staff farewell the other day, I was having a quiet glass of champers when the boss sat down next to me and another member of staff who happens to be going to U2 with her man. I was saying how I though SBS is THE definitive U2 song.
The boss says, and I quote:
"When Bono said "This song is not...", that was recorded at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. It was where they recorded the brilliant "Under a Blood Red Sky". I was managing the Divinyls then, and we were support for U2. I was standing 15m from Bono when he said those words". The boss then got up and walked off, leaving two staff speechless. Not a bad anecdote, eh?
Hope you all love the concerts, and enjoy SBS, I Still Haven't Found... and All I Want is You.
Cheerio,
AM

Sounds good mate I'll jump on that train, does anyone know what time trackwork starts on the line? Trackwork remains Wyong - Fasifern until end of Friday's services, then no trains Central - Newcastle on Sat. Although, trackwork timetable lists our train as Gosford 5:48 (? Arr or Dep). See you on it Omni - say, rear carriage / bottom. Any others welcome!
